I always seem to come back and watch it again every year or so and shed a tear of joy, but also sadness, because I know how great I had it as a kid playing 1.6 and being involved in the scene when it prospered. @XSm0k3X I must comment on this. As gamers, in the age bracket of round 18-25 now, we were in the literal zenith of FPS playing.

I now work as an investment banker, had a great education, had a great family. But the one thing I shall always and will never forget is this video and its resonance it had on me. This, and the people who played CS and loved this video, knew what it meant to kick ass and take names.

It meant more than having a high kill ratio in COD. It meant having character.

Source has nice looking graphics bit its hitbox engine, and Register database is totally out of sync most of the time. i.e. people getting a headshot when theyre not aiming at their face etc. 1.6 will always have a better hitbox and reg than source, however I do prefer the graphics, plus I like the GUI of the game compared to 1.6 (personally i dont think any of the games will ever beat 1.5's reg, it was so accurate)

Yeah CoD is a competitive game, but in Counter-strike there were rules and people followed them and you didn't see camping homos with ghost in corners for the entire match and such.
