It's annoying how fake people are these days, and how everyone loves fake and trashy entertainment. And btw, people throw around the words "art" and "artist" too loosely. These people are just entertainers. The so called "art" they create is so superficial and artificial, just like the entertainers them selves.

The problem with lady gaga is that she tries too hard. Her videos are highly overworked, her image and fashion sense is completely contrived, her music is pointless (she writes silly dance songs yet goes around calling her music revolutionary), and her little philosophies (be yourself, free yourself, gay this and my fans that) are just apart of her image. Yet people are irrevocably and intolerably obsessed with her because she's "cool". She's nothing but an image and clever marketing.

@JeffN727 i just discovered Sergio Mendes Brazil 66 this year, and the Black Eyed Peas version of Mas Que Nada was crap. All these youngins think the Black Eyed Peas version is all that, but if they had taste the original version by Sergio was much better. As far as song remakes i hate the remake of Rich Girl by Hall And Oates. The youngins think the remake is much better than the original, but nothing compares to the original in my opinion.

As a young person Smoott..I don't listen to ladygaga just because of her tremendous lack of talent. I don't care how many instruments she plays, or how good she can read music...the pure and simple fact is, talent is what counts in the music industry, Kate Bush had/has incredible amounts of talent when she made records..and Ladygaga has none to speak of.
