Did this game ever crash on you? Because during the first mission as Starkiller right after you beat those soldiers after trapping you in a circle with barriers, after you have to use your powers to lower a platform for you to jump on, as soon as I do so, the game instantly crashes and there is not even an error report. I don't think my computer lacks anything that would miss the game's requirements. What do you think?

what happends from 3:10 on shows that even if he is evil, vader is still human, and not completely gone wrong...

Thats a shame. If you can hear a "Nividia", then its going to the menu screen, and to restore the picture you can then just Alt+Tab out, and then Alt+Tab back in. I can only get it to work 2/10 times.
For what its worth, I feel your pain. I paid £15 for my copy, and if its only one thing I expect from a PC title, its just for the bloody game to work - I can live with low-details. Nothing but poor software engineering, if you ask me...

@QuadroGuitarist My xbox 360 broke and I am so happy that I got a decent dual core gaming rig with me now lol. And pc versions of console games are cheaper! I bought transformers war for cybertron for pc and it costed me 45 dollars and the ps3 and xbox 360 version costed 55 dollars! and singularity for pc costs 10 dollars less than the xbox 360 and ps3 version! I think all pc versions of games are cheaper than console versions. Don't you agree?

@AdvancedGamer52439 PC versions of console games are usually a bit cheaper because they're not quite as good as the console versions and are usually plagued with a bad interface or wonky controls. of course it depends on the game. Developers now-a-days just don't put the time to rework and tweak the games for optimum PC gameplay. Take Oblivion for example, PC users have to mod the hell out of the game for it to be decent.
And you know what you can do as a last resort? DL The crap out of them :] (Without modding your PC, which you have to do with a PS3 and Xbox, I just have my Xbox for Reach >_<)

It was really annoying but it is worth it. All my games play so much better now. Yes compatibility issues is what I don't like about pc gaming. Assassin's Creed 2 was really laggy on my Athlon 64 5200 @2.9Ghz and my old motherboard (Nforce 430 chipset) And 4GB DDR2 ram and ATI 5770.
Now Assassin's Creed 2 runs silky smooth. I asked my friends if they tried pc gaming and they said it sucks! They probably never heard of pc gaming! One of my friends came over to see my pc and she was like OMG.

@QuadroGuitarist - Well I highly agree with you, except there are the few games such as TFU and sports games such as FIFA or PES which I prefer a controller with, but all I'd do is get a Wireless Black 360 controller and use that with the MS Crossfire adapter with Windows.
But with the TFU games I prefer them on console, since they're not ported by Aspyr and written by LucasArts themselves.

Even if the requirements are met, installation errors still occur, making the games inoperable to an extent, or not at all. Keep in mind that most games today are marketed towards console users anyway.
in force upgrades how can you switch from force powers to force combos or force talents? there only reads <- [ Force Combos and Force Talents ] -> but if I press the [ or ] nothing happens. read the hole instruction manual and it doesnt help me at all. any ideas?
Next time put some game play during the whole video, personally I don't like to see more than half of the video wasted on pre rendered cut scenes and all that stuff.
@Nirth90 I tried searching for a way to increase or remove the FPS cap and have not found any way to do so. It's one of the things stopping me from playing this game. The other is the anti-aliasing FPS drop on my 9800GTX+, just like Lulunkai. I cannot stand aliasing and can't play with horrible FPS.
I have a nearly identical system to you Koroush, except my video card is a 9800GTX. Yet when I try to force any kind of AA through forceware my FPS immediately drops to an unplayable level while in this game. I just accepted it as a part of the buggy console part. So I am curious as to why your game does not do this to you.
@ChaosBahamut My 9800GTX performs just fine thanks. And I can force 8X AA through forceware in nearly every game and still get perfect framerates. It is just in this game I cannot. So it's obviously a matter of some compatibility error in the game engine, and not a matter of gfx card power.

From what I've read the framerate for the pc version is terrible...but it seems to be working fine here.

PC is generally better, but this port is shoddy at best. 25 Gig install. 30 fps cap. Menu controls are terrible.
However, the graphics are good and the gameplay is addictive. That's why I still play the game to this day.

@AdvancedGamer52439 PC versions of console games are usually a bit cheaper because they're not quite as good as the console versions and are usually plagued with a bad interface or wonky controls. of course it depends on the game. Developers now-a-days just don't put the time to rework and tweak the games for optimum PC gameplay. Take Oblivion for example, PC users have to mod the hell out of the game for it to be decent.

@AdvancedGamer52439 in fact PC games are cheaper than console ones. but the same game is on sale for consoles 45/60 days before the PC version. and a durable gaming PC costs way more than a console. don't forget also that a PC needs more care in terms of registry cleaning, driver upgrades and has compatibility troubles while consoles don't even know about the existence of them 'cause there's only an hardware configuration.PC is far better in performance but you must love taking care of it!

@andystrazz That is so true. I do like taking care of it a lot. But sometimes I really don't like it. Like when I had to reinstall windows when I got my new motherboard and cpu a week ago. It was really annoying but it is worth it. All my games play so much better now. Yes compatibility issues is what I don't like about pc gaming. The last level of crysis ticked me off so much because It kept on crashing. I am going to try that level again since I got new hardware.

@andystrazz Oh yeah I got a Phenom II 945 @3.3Ghz and my new motherboard is the ASUS M4A77D. (AMD 770 chipset) 4GB DDR2 ram. And ATI 5770.
Assassin's Creed 2 was really laggy on my Athlon 64 5200 @2.9Ghz and my old motherboard (Nforce 430 chipset) And 4GB DDR2 ram and ATI 5770.
Now Assassin's Creed 2 runs silky smooth. I asked my friends if they tried pc gaming and they said it sucks! They probably never heard of pc gaming! One of my friends came over to see my pc and she was like OMG.

@andystrazz I asked a guy I know that has a bad attitude that seems like he knows a lot about gaming. I asked him about pc gaming and he says pc gaming is "ok" and xbox 360 is way better than the ps3. I laughed in my mind knowing he is all wrong. Don't you find it really annoying when people are arguing about which console is better? (console wars) I really don't like that at all! So many people are so ignorant nowadays. I think pc gamers are the most non-ignorant and most polite people.

@QuadroGuitarist Come on, lets be realistic here, PC may have a lot more games than the consoles, but the actual quality of those games are usually lacking, and 9 times out of 10, PC gets the short end of the stick when it comes to exclusives, and it gets worse when deadlines are rushed. Trust me, PC Gaming is better, but its far from perfect.

@QuadroGuitarist I use both. Sure, PC can handle bigger and better things, but you can't beat turning on an Xbox and almost instantly being able to jump online. Not to mention that a decent gaming computer is around a thousand bucks anymore.

@QuadroGuitarist - Well I highly agree with you, except there are the few games such as TFU and sports games such as FIFA or PES which I prefer a controller with, but all I'd do is get a Wireless Black 360 controller and use that with the MS Crossfire adapter with Windows.
But with the TFU games I prefer them on console, since they're not ported by Aspyr and written by LucasArts themselves.

@QuadroGuitarist Yes, but there are a lot of games (EA's games mainly) that aren't guaranteed to work on some systems. Even if the requirements are met, installation errors still occur, making the games inoperable to an extent, or not at all. Keep in mind that most games today are marketed towards console users anyway.

@Nirth90 I tried searching for a way to increase or remove the FPS cap and have not found any way to do so. It's one of the things stopping me from playing this game. The other is the anti-aliasing FPS drop on my 9800GTX+, just like Lulunkai. I cannot stand aliasing and can't play with horrible FPS.

I have a nearly identical system to you Koroush, except my video card is a 9800GTX. Yet when I try to force any kind of AA through forceware my FPS immediately drops to an unplayable level while in this game. I just accepted it as a part of the buggy console part. So I am curious as to why your game does not do this to you.

@ChaosBahamut My 9800GTX performs just fine thanks. And I can force 8X AA through forceware in nearly every game and still get perfect framerates. It is just in this game I cannot. So it's obviously a matter of some compatibility error in the game engine, and not a matter of gfx card power.

@Lulunkai I think the it might be the videocard RAM. 1GB is twice as much as 512MB and 8x AA requires a lot of it at high resolutions.
