I cant do this glitch.... every time i go on the gts in pearl a pokeball falls from the sky i get a pokemon and a communacation error occurs... the pokemon is different each time with a different ot... now i have a kingdra electrive shaymin manaphy and some other pokemon but no clones i didnt deposit any pokemon nor o i have the n. dex so its kind of creepy.....the pokemon can be level 0 or 25 and met at lv 30 all are hacked i think....

Basically, you got to test out how much time it takes for your DS to connect to the internet by putting one random pokemon up for trade.

Record how long it takes for you to connect and make sure through out the whole process you don't move your DS so the connection stays the same!

What you are trying to do is cut of the game one second before it connects.

Gotta say I was amazed when this worked for me but with all these videos showing how to clone people are leave out one really important piece of info!

It's all about the timing when connecting to the GTS system. Peoples internet connections are different so the time it takes for the clock to spin and your system to connect is gonna constantly change between 6 to 8.5 spins.

Before I did the glitch I tested out the timing and found a pattern! Once I got the pattern I kept cloning successfully!

You guys need to find a better way to clone. Try the flashcart cloning for pokemon nds games. If you have a flashcart, you trade the pokemon you want to clone to your flashcart and then you save. Then put the save file of the flashcart in your computer. Send the pokemon back to the game it came from. And then replace the save file of the flashcart save so that after you traded the pokemon back, it will have one in the flashcart. Look it up on youtube.

Note to self: When trying to clone a Pokemon, make sure the Pokemon you "want" is something you don't mind getting in case a trade actually happens.

I.E. I would opt towards a Celebi or Jirachi when trying to clone my Azelf.

cloning with an AR is not cheating, this method of cloning is inferior because you can't clone events (like TRU arceus, gamestop deoxys etc.) because they arent allowed in the global trade system!!!!

There is another way to clone pokemon without action replay, GTS, or Daycare. I was messing around in the Void in Jubilife City using the tweaking glitch, and i had a gyarados in my party. I later found out that i had one in my PC, same level same stats. I do not know exactly how i did it, but it was somehow cloned. I do not have Wi Fi for my DS or an action replay, and i have only heard about the daycare cloning.

@omghitbycar every game after emerald uses 2 saves one is a backup in case the main corrupts so your game wont mess up but it will revert to the save before your last one.
