This sound is back, Vaz was hammerhead afterwards and they put out a few records, but the Am Rep sound has come back in a huge way the last 5 years or so.
HammerHead FreaKin' Rules!!! God, these guys were so awesome. I never got to see them because i was only 14 or so, but i had all their albums. Has anybody seen Vaz play?
I had never heard of this band before today but let me just say, this song is one of the most badass songs I've ever heard in my life. Thank you for your time.
god they were so freaking good. I mean, their first album was awesome but when Vortex came out, they just upped their game by several orders of magnitude. their concerts at the Euc in Cleveland were among the best musical events I've witnessed.. luckily they played there a LOT. VORTEX is definately one of the great albums of the 90's.
One of the best songs by one of the best noise rock bands ever. I wish it was May of '92 so I could see them for the first time at the Entry again. If anyone reading this has more Hammerhead footage (or a time machine) please let me know. Thanks.
sooo fucking good

Within these videos and "Into the Vortex" there's a strong case for Hammerhead being the greatest band of all time.

This video certainly shows the goofy side of Hammerhead. They could also rock with thunderous terror. Amazing band.
