@Darklord285 Thanks! Yes, nylon strings would be more traditional, and with the right player, better. I'm a steel string player and it is not better when I try nylon. I don't really play classical style, but I'll have a go at most anything.

Thanks for the post... I just got the tabs a few days ago and have been working on it night and day. I believe it was originally done by Chet Atkins and transcribed by Bruce Mock. Since I will NEVER be able to play it with the tremelo, this version is perfect. But it's still hard no matter how you slice it. Nice to see the fingering done the right way. Again, thanks

Well, it could also be the guitar you are hearing instead of the strings. This guitar is a Collings OM3 and in my opinion it is a very good sounding guitar. Not that a Takamine won't sound good with John Pearse strings, but it might not sound like the Collings.

I think this is a wiser way to play this song,

trying to do it with the constant finger picking method is futile no matter how good you are, this is the nicest way to play this music on a guitar.
