The wealth that was generated from South Africa was re-invested in that country & as a result, South Africa rivals any major European country or probably out class Eastern Europe. Benin City is in great decline. Something has to be done about the followership - the people. We, the people have to demand better, better roads, more dependable power supply, more accountability for state funds. Benin City must be revived.

When my father went home 2 months ago he couldn't tell anybody he was home or let anyone know about his whereabouts because it was too dangerous to let that kind of information out. He couldn't let his own mother know where he was staying at. It is a shame that we now are subject to fear when we visit home.
