Search this title below on YouTube search bar to witness evidence that Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood lies ALOT about services it provides to women:
OK, now how many babies do we need? How many can we take care of? How many can we feed? In 1962 there were 3 billion people on the planet. Now there are over 6 billion. How many babies are in orphanages, foster care, found in dumpsters? Let's concentrate on preventing unwanted pregnancies, not on eliminating abortions.
That was great - I felt like I was there. I am so excited about this presidency! Finally! Support for women and science - a return to rationalist thought.
And the other side of this (stneme) is that there are women who never have any problems at all after they have an abortion-they are perfectly fine with their choice and go on to have very happy and fullfilling lives-.Thank you PP for all that you do for us! (stneme)
The best way to prevent child abuse, child neglect and poverty is to make contraception and abortion available to women. Thank you President Obama for undoing th Global Gag Rule!
So many of you have been brainwashed. Unwanted embryos are not babies. Abortion doesn't equal a life of misery.
All faiths -- jewish, muslim, christian, etc have abortions in approximately equal proportions -- so don't think only "others" have abortions. Besides, you likely don't have the gall to discuss someone else's salary or financial history with them, why would you feel you've got a right to comment on their personal choices? Grow up -- you don't get to set the terms for this world.
Interesting, I view being forced to gestate an unwanted pregnancy to be worse than getting breast cancer. Both giving birth & breast cancer can kill you, so I stick with my view that abortion should remain the choice of the woman and nobody else.
Obviously, as any fifth grader will tell you, IF abortion is the number one cause of death for women in that age group, then abortion is the least of that countries worries.
Obviously, I need to explain it to you. When abortion became illegal, people still got abortions but there were done illegally (i.e. with a coat hanger). Get it?
Cecile, are you married? I didn't see your husband with you at the inauguration. Have you had abortions? What is your personal story in your fight for abortion rights?
In fact, there's no credible and peer-reviewed research that supports your claim, stneme. PAS is bogus and made up by folks who claim to be "researchers", but are actually anti-aboriton zealots.
And the other side of this is that there are women who never have any problems at all-every CHOICE we make can have potential risks.Thank you PP for all that you do for us!
Thank you PP for all that you do. You fought hard during the last 8 years, hopefully you won't have to fight so hard anymore. But we have to be careful not to become complacent. Even with the inauguration of a pro-choice president we will still need you all at PP to continue to educate us and support our rights.
Thank you for the video. I was home in San Diego...cozy and warm...and very excited. You've given me a taste of what it was like to be there. Thanks for your efforts on behalf of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is an extremely important organization. Because of great leadership and generous supporters, they are very effective. Keep up the good work!!!!
I wasn't there, but this video manages to capture, and convey, the magic and excitement that was CLEARLY in the air! The eight-year nightmare is over! God speed, President Obama!!!
I was preivelaged to meet Barack obama in 2006after he became Illinois senator. We were holding a District 205 student conforence to address concerns with the school system funding cuts and other concerns in the south suburbs of Chicago. Obama was there to listen. I was able to ask him a question. I asked him how he felt about abortion and he said, "I feel that those are tough decisions that a woman has to make". I had ever heard. Barack Obama has always been a Voice for Choice.
I haven't been PROUD to be an american for 8 long years...it's nice to have a president I actually respect in office! Thanks for helping make that happen PP!
Chief Justice Roberts: You're the CHIEF JUSTICE!! You couldn't get the oath right?! Or maybe this was an innocent little "mistake" because President Obama voted against your confirmation! Yeeeey Mr. President!!!! A glorious day!
You could say the exact same thing about going forth with an unwanted pregnancy. No option is easy, and I have to disagree with you saying that abortion is celebrated: it is the option that is held dear, the right for a woman to decide her own fate. There is a difference. Pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion.
Yea Pres Obama, An inauguration with no one being arrested! I haven't seen anyone protesting on any of the news organizations. Could it be that those pro-hate people blew their chance, or just forgot? I think perhaps they may have been there but the news orgs finally decided to report some real news.
What of all those pressured into having babies by religious zealots who care nothing about the conditions people live in once they're born. You supported Bush whose policies made live miserable for those made poor. But you'd rather more people be born into poverty with no health insurance or gov't assistance.
Thank you Planned Parenthood for helping to elect the most pro-choice president in our nation's history since LBJ! What an exciting and amazing time for PP and for women everywhere as we move into the new era of reproductive health care.
Maybe PP will finally be given the ability to provide affordable and accessible birth control to every woman who needs it by the fed govt.
You are very naive if you think that birth control is 100% effective. I have two children that were unplanned (I was using birth control.) The pregnancies were a happy accident though, because these children are the greatest blessing in my life.
Well, you must have done something wrong then because I've been on the pill for 8 years and have NEVER gotten pregnant. Did you read the instructions correctly? You are supposed to take it at the same time EVERYDAY. And they recommend you use TWO methods of contraception. So, congradulations on being an accidental mommy. Hopefully, you didn't have girls.
It's a woman's choice. It's her body. I feel sorrow that your friends were pressured into a decision that was not what they wanted. I am a woman. I value my choice to be a parent or not. I take birth control pills and ALWAYS use protection. With education and dedication to safe sex practices, most women will never have to make the choice to have an abortion. However, I judge not and neither should you. God's children are his to judge alone.
Just the other day, I was worrying about Roe v.Wade possibly being overturned and then I realized that I don't have to worry about that for the next 4 years! If Obama has the opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court Justice, we can be assured that she or he will be pro-choice.
Thank you for all you do. I tip my hat to you on this 22nd day of January in honor of the birthday of Roe V Wade. I will continue to support Planned Parenthood and encourage others to do the same. I'm so happy you got to take part in this event and thank you for sharing it with us.
I think this is a good place to say Thanks Planned Parenthood. You have no idea how you have saved me and so many of my friends from everything from early pregnancy to cancer. I hope you get all the funding and support you need from the new administration.
What a day! Thanks for the video. It felt like being there. We look forward to a new chapter in reproductive freedom. Thank you, thank you to all who work to make women's lives better.
Thank you Planned Parenthood for your consistent message and efforts to keep health care for women safe, affordable and accessible. Today, we celebrate that and are filled with hope.

Yes, shame on us for even debating this topic. Women get to choose, whether you like it or not. End of discussion.
