  • Man these young Kenyan executives are so impressive. I feel good for Kenya. I see a bright future.

  • all the best Gachao, you are really doing well since our Turi days

  • why are pple b'tching. who cares what tribe he is! all I care is the content of what he is doing-I am for any Kenyan that is doing anything worthwhile to make some money for themselves and for other Kenyans!

  • Transcentury is a kibaki outfit and money laundering "company". After 2012, I fully expect it to collapse. Without it's connections to statehouse, they won't be able to compete either in Kenya or anywhere else.

It's unfortunate that a guy like Gachao who has a Ph.D in Biochemistry, has chosen to waste his youth at a politically connected sham operation.

    Larry Madowo is horrible.

  • @tiredkabisa pure case of cant beat them - trash them! jealousy

  • @maddozi i guess you'll complain too they have the largest %age self employed, complain they're largest risk takers, complain they hire more of "others" than others hire them, complain they get lesser CDF but pay more taxes. Harambee stars was a success in 80's.Turns out those who put in the most passion, drive & effort into football were Luos & Luhyas. They became the football elite in kenya, complain?.Kales put in the most effort into athletics.Don't socialize the success if the effort is private.

  • @maddozi this guy went to school in Cambridge. Where did you go to school you idiot? This is a private company.

  • why shld some pple be against the kikuyu, kikuyus is all abt looking for opportunities, consider europe and america we are the largest kenyan tribe.Who ever created tribes screwed down kenya

  • @maddozi, wewe uko na upuzi mwingi sana! this is a private firm that is going public. shida yako iko wapi? Transcentury is by and large the best and most effective private equity firm in Africa. These guys get interviews from CNBC, Wall Street Journal and Financial TImes. They are doing amazing stuff transforming our economy and companies

  • @maddozi I don't want to know your political affiliation, or your tribal anger, but just take sometime and watch the clip. It's better than all the political garbage we watch every day, and a small step in developing Kenya.

  • I would really be careful about investing in a PE firm whose strategy is a black box- looks like the majority shareholders are looking to cash in at a time when their largest equity investment is in a railway company that's not doing well at all. Looking forward to reading their prospectus....

  • @surambaya I agree with you on that! People should be careful about investing in this company. Problem with kenyans is they flock into investments like sheep without doing their DD(Due Diligence)

  • you got issues maddosi...
