@Mrjlentels, hi Zandapanda, cheers mate for your comment. Enjoyed your surreal 'air guitar' vid. One thing though, if I may, the secret of mime is that you have to believe whatever object you have is really there. Nice touch at the beginning when you took it out of the case, but it got lost a bit when you were having your street conversation. Most guitarists still hold their guitar by the body or rest their arm on it when they're not playing. Still very good though. take care, Eric.
@Ukuleleric Yes, my trouble was that my actor was a friend who had never played guitar before, so I had to teach him how to look like he was playing a guitar, and while he made a sterling effort I agree that I should have being paying closer attention to it while I was filming. Thanks for the criticism though, if I were continuing in film, it would have proved a valuable lesson.
banjostead, hi Joe, thanks so much mate. Checked out your vids, excellent, love your wooden banjo, didn't know there were such things. Loved your singing too. Fair winds, Eric.
Fantastic - I performed this about 20 years ago in a school show. Was amazed to still remember most of the lines. I have just performed again and confirmed my teenage daughters suspicions that I don't rate sanity as one of my strengths. Great fun - loved the handbag scene and the mayhem song. Will be looking at the rest when I get chance. Thank you for putting a smile on my face.x
Hiya gapdragon1, thanks so much for your lovely comment. Yes, it's strange isn't it? that somewhere in the deep recesses of one's brain those things you thought you had forgotten are actually just filed away. Glad to hear that you're not sane, welcome to the club. There are far too many sane people as it is. God bless, Eric. P.S. regards to your daughter.
OH WHAT A WONDERFUL RENDITION I had not heard it before and being from Peoria Illinois it is completely new SIR YOU ARE A TRUE ARTIST VERY HUMORUS and entertaining! THANK YOU
Hi DADRENO, thanks so much for comment. I do know of 'Wi' 'er 'ead tucked underneath 'er arm, she walked the bloody tower', many times, don't think I'll be doing it tho'. Bless you for asking. Eric.
