You make too much sense. The problem is that no one wants to look at simple hard facts. Even though correlation does not equal cause, people should really take this into consideration. Great work!
How sure are you that lower tax rates are a clear indicator of less regulation? Most regulation of business practice shows up as regulation of business practice not simply a tax on transactions. Intuitively I presume most the red states (high tax) also regulate heavily. I don't foresee your analysis falling apart on closer examination but the question deserves that closer examination. The simple correlation of tax rates to emigration is important itself.
excellent insight good work. this shows why socialists want to control the federal government, so there's no where to go to get away from high taxes and big government.
From iloveterriers: Where will the jobs come from? From more printed money? Those are not long-term jobs.
Consider unemployment, plus the fact that the extensions are misleading and only a few get the extensions means more unemployed that are not being reported on.

Less tax revenues; here in CA, the governor is forced to lay off gov. workers if unions cannot compromise to pay cuts

Yay new york!
My cities population went from 31,000 to 15,000 during the 1990's. We were hovering around 16,000 by 2008.
I wonder what will happen in another five years.

also:
Less taxes, less gov. jobs also. It's a matter of time. Like I said, it's happening here in CA.
I think this collapse is intentional.

Intentional or not, we're in bad shape.
