you cut vertically because if you cut horizontally, it will NOT make the line straight, instead, it will be VERY crooked.

uhm. just a little tip. i know its very common that people wet their hair so its easier to cut; but the weight of the water drags it down. so when it dries; it'll be much shorter than yu though it was going to be. <3(;

You don't really have to style long side swept bangs. You could just comb your bangs after you shower and pin them to the side with a bobby pin. Then just let it air dry.

weighs all your hair down to an even point meansing they dont cut it wrong. Unless you have super long and wavy hair like mine, they wash, dry and fully straighten it first to get an even cut

when my sisters and i were young we used to cut each others hair and cut our own too..my favorite way to cut layers in my hair was to put it in a ponytail on the very top of my head and cut it straight off at the length i wanted it to be..i have never wore short hair so i always cut it just a little at a time. my hair is way down past my waist now,it gets in my way sometimes but im not ready to cut it yet,gonna see how long i can get it.its all one length.not many styles when its this long. :)
