Yes, climate does go through natural cycles, but this occurs on the geologic time scale.....
This is the key distinction between natural cycles and the change occurring because of our own behaviour.
Even if it takes a century for the caps to disappear, that's still VERY rapid change relative to normal occurences.....
Besides, you can't judge what's happening on the global scale by what you see in your backyard.
