It is a difficulty, but there is goodwill amongst many.

@nandanugent It seems to me that the real problem is materialism, as we live in a technologically progressive world, we are substituting these things to fix our desire for what our souls need, unfortunately that still always brings me back to the same conclusion, achieving what we need (peace and unity) is so much simpler said than done.

@WildBillHickums Materialism is the umbrella term that includes bodily identification instead of spiritual identification. And agreed material things, such as technology cannot satisfy the needs of the soul, which has other needs. If you look at Maslows pyramid, these material needs are on the lower level with self actualization at the top. Really we must attempt as individuals to achieve peace and unity with others without expecting it from those who are not yet ready.

Rasters have a very close connection to Jerusalem as do Christianity, Both religions(well, Rastafarian is considered a way of life not a religion), look forward to the New Jerusalem as promised by the bible. It is a place of Reverence, a place, as read in the bible book of Revelations, where saints will settle.
