90's - greatest decade in gaming! The animation is worthy of Disney, the voices are perfect and the gameplay sublime - and the game is as hard as rocks! In other words, a brilliant brilliant game! thanks for uploading - it's always good to see other people's strategies! :)

Thanks for upload, this brings back memories. Me and my friends had only one copy of this game to share and we would always hang out to the guy who had it :p Brings back good memories. What a seriously hard game though, modern games are so easy compared to this, u cant do many mistakes before the game slaps u in the face here. Did u record this on w95 or an emulator?

Did you ever come across any Chaos Dwarfs in this game?

I have the game, but I always die around the time you meet the turban headed guys somewhere around the 13th mission. the Dwarf Campaigns are basically the furthest I got up to.

I remember this game was quite slow on my PC (at the time).

Also that is lacked in good army managment/editing.

Too few reinforcements too.

All those were fixed in Dark Omen.

I've only seen screenshots of SoTHR in a Gaming Magazine when I was younger.

But now that I've seen live gameplay footage for the first time, I'm frankly very stunned and surprised.

This game looks and plays like it was a Progenitor for the successful "Total War" series of PC Games.

yeah i see what you mean! I'm also a huge fan of the Total war series. This game has a more turn based feel to the combat though whereas Total war feels a bit more fluid

This Series sure has come a long way from 1995.

Today, there's "Mark of Chaos" and a soon-to-be-released Expansion, "Battle March."

But man, it would be SO awesome if they teamed up with Creative Assembly to create "Warhammer: Total War" where you can play as every race. =D

@gwam69 It only feels a bit solid because it's a old game so the graphics don't gel as well with your eyes as newer games would and also because it is paced a little slower.

Loads of orcs though. It's a really old game but it's a real classic
