What "holiness of marriage"? What Western country has religious requirements for marriage? Can atheists or non-Christians marry? What religious criteria must be fulfilled before people can LEGALLY marry?
THINK about this: The STATE gives the clergy the right to perform marriages, not the reverse. The STATE determines eligibility, i.e. age, not the church. So where is the "holiness"?
