I saw the hampsters two years ago at the "Silloth beer and music festival" on the Cumbrian coast. They are fantastic. If you've never been to Silloth, go in September. Step back in time!

I was on work experience at Workshop Studios in Redditch around '92(?) when the Hamsters were polishing off a 'live' album. Great bunch of guys and it sounds as good now as it did back then! :)

Just watch the Hamsters last night At Mainsforth, Co Durham I've lost count of the amount of times I have and as much as I like their Hendrix sets I actually Prefer to listen to their original stuff. Their Open all hours album is fantastic and if anybody thinks they are a cheap covers band they have completely missed the point there is so much more to this band, that's why the likes of Albert Collins and Walter Trout have had them as a support Band.

Hendrix kicked ass all the time his hyperness and hair made him what he was. This video doesn't show the hamsters off that well if you go got and see them live you would see he is an awesome guitarist!! and that he is the closest to hendrix you are ever going to get he is also really funny between songs!!
