Id has been making great stuff, all of it is the same idea, Same Enviroment. Nearly exactly the same. If you like Doom, play Quake. I have played more quake than doom, and Quake has something to it.
My faveourite Doomguy of all Doom games, I hope they use this guy again in Doom 4 ! Or if the 2 Marines could meet up. Hopefully they dont make him(or them if they include both of them) talk (alot) cause his quietness really suits him.
The Doomguy is always the same in the Doom games. The only difference with this game is his hair color is black instead of blond in original Doom and Doom 2. The Doomguy is always silent because apparently "there is no one to talk to". So I doubt they would make him talk in Doom 4 just for the sake of it
No he isn't. In this game he looks younger and his body build is less exaggerated. The Doomguy in Ressurection of Evil is a battle engineer (and resembles the Doomguy from Doom and Doom 2) So this one is different.
Dont forget the expansion :P DOOM will always be a great video game and NO one can say otherwise. ID has the legacy to back them up, they are the first company for the FPS. Go wolfenstien!
um after fighting hell, yeah i think we would all be in shock. and the reason it's like that is so it can boost you up for doom 3 'rez of evil' but yeah it sucked cause swann and campbell die :(
I hate this ending.. They find him just lying there.. does he even remember killing cyberdemon + everything else? Does he get rewarded for his doings? If thats the case then it just all mysteriously happened, and no one knows how... thats fuckin Gay!!! But if not.. thats still a pretty weak ending, i was expecting something cool to come out of it..

I heard from ID that Doom 4 will NOT be a continuation of Doom 3, they said that Doom 4 is gonna go back to it's roots...yes, the 2 and the only, DOOM AND DOOM II!!! Better mp over Doom 3, more fun gameplay and everything!!! (found this in some interviews on shacknews)

The song at the end is sort of building up, really only starting with the credits; which you left out.
