  • The only problem with finding coins buried outdoors is that they are very seldom in good condition. My dad told me when he was a kid back in the late 1940s or early '50's he buried a jar of silver dollars that he put in a canning jar but forgot where he buried them. All he could remember was that they were somewhere near railroad tracks. I sure wish he gave me a better idea of where to look, I don't even know what city Lol ! I'm sure it would be an easy target and the condition would be MINT.

  • @Kcrthn I boil peroxide in the microwave put them in till it cools to the touch... Wash coin and brush with an old toothbrush... Repeat as needed... then I use some Renaissance Wax
