An endorsement does not mean agreeing with an opinion. An endorsement is the public approval & advertising of a person they want. Let's say Mr. Paul had an opinion similar to someone else - who is racist.

Just because Mr. Paul agrees does not make him a racist. But if you say Ron Paul endorses him because of opinion, that means he is advertising & approving of a racist person, not just the opinion.

You must be careful when using this word, because it can backfire & actually hurt Mr. Paul.
