Hate to break it to you but they made Ultimate Colossus over 5 years ago & the world didn't end. That's the point of the Ultimate line, to change up the characters in a way that doesn't mess with main continuity. They killed freaking Spider-Man AND Wolverine in Ultimate, so what if Piotr's gay? Gays exist and him and Northstar are cute together. He's still straight in a half dozen non-Ultimate titles.

Thats the thing, the events in Astonishing X-men are BEFORE Messiah Complex. So in the most recent Uncanny Logan, Kurt and pete are in a Russian bar and they speak of Him losing Kitty.....The problem is, Astonishing's last issue is late. So we dont know what happened yet. It was a mistake on marvels part
