there's still a layer of rust on top of the rails at the 12th street crossing.

at one point i heard they were going to save the line to the mill, then i heard talk of abandonement from the west end of the yard to the mill...just curious if you heard anything

I don't know if a final decision has been made yet. The bridge west of 7th street is still waiting to be replaced due to the wash-out. And PSAP has been doing the switching at Olympic Panel.
