Speaking of bridges, I don't get the deficit, yet something was passed to spend 33 million to build 4 lanes over the river in my neighborhood during 2013, which I don't believe me neighborhood combined with the town over even has that cash. Ok, we have 2 bridges over the water already, but I wish you federals would of chose to go the other way, and built a traffic bridge or 2 over the busy main line (RxR) instead.

But yes just as it is today with the stimulas monies it is the contractors who make the millions while the workers get just enough to live on ! ! !
That is true, but also keep in mind that most of the hulk in the current stimulas is for nothing but pork-barrel projects, and it has actually failed to create jobs as it was intended. Obama made the claim that with the stimulas our national unemployment rate would not exceed over 8%. It has now skyrocketed to 10.2%.
Typical liberals. They make lofty promises and fail to deliver. Besides, why spend money to supposedly decrease unemployment, when we're still paying for it in the long run anyways?
@LordoftheKaty The stimulus was great,but how the heel was it supposed to help the economy!!!? Even some one as young as me can figure out that it was just useless!! It made the US a nicer place,but didn't put all those Americans back to work!

I think that bridge was in the movie Equinox from the 1960's, although it was still in use at that time.

The Bridge was made in 1936. There was a date on the bridge last time I saw it. Also, the flood was in 1938 that washed out the road.
