I think it's because he used some kind of camera trick, which enables him to skip a couple of fights and cutscenes.

I don't get this. O_o Does a Clear Save Game File remove all the barriers to access all areas straight away or did the guy who did this who hacked it remove the barriers? Because as far as I remember you couldn't get to Wan Chai till you had your bag back..

you can always download it via emulation, however word of warning its a piece of crap graphics wise, a lot of tearing.

Aberdeen is the city, and the song is called Worker's Pier (daytime); you can find it at Shenmue Dojo, a good Shenmue site.

I have all the OST and all the songs on SD but never found this particular one of aberdeen even worker's pied day isnt the same! looks like we only have this song at the beginning of the game

You can buy the game :P this is the first Xbox version but what i recommend for you is to get a Dreamcast and play Shenmue 1 (English) then you can either play Shenmue 2 on Dreamcast (Japanese subtitled English) or get and Xbox and play this version of it.

This is the best game I have ever played I have finished it many years ago and I'm still watching the videos... Great memories... Waiting for the third episode of it... anyway just get the game however you can cuz you won't regret it at all

just bought this game at gamestop today for $4 for the xbox, probably the best deal i ever got at a gamestop ever. i can't believe some of the deals they have there, like halo 2 today i saw for $30 used O_o and super smash melee is $25 and mario party 4 was 30!!! sooo expensive, but today i nabbed final fantasy 12 also for $10 new :)

The nostalgia! I played this game on the Dreamcast circa Christmastime 2002/2003! Great game, and it made vast improvements on the original Shenmue, largely because Shenmue II on the Dreamcast was in their native Japanese language. Thus, it seemed more authentic. Besides, the American voice actors were beyond execrable!

i did shenmue 1 in just over 2 full days with no sleep and just food and toilot brakes and the only problem using the Xbox copy of shenmue 2 is that bits where cut out the game but still this is epic much faster than i can do it
