Hello, fellow woman here. Thanks for the video. I currently am starting week 4 of the lean program. I'm too heavy to do even one pull up but I can feel myself getting closer. I did just order an assist band to help me instead of using a chair which I find awkward. Hopefully this will help and in the end I'll get as fit as you are now, one week in~~~good job! Damn, I have the Iron Gym pull up bar for P90X I just hate that I cannot do the wide range pullups with the Iron Gym...but I go as wide as I can...which isn't too wide. And you're pretty cute!
Just keep working on it. I finished my final week with 143 pull ups on the legs and back workout. And yes, I am a woman!! Try crossing your legs when doing pull ups, maybe that will help a little bit.
It doesn't show failure if women aren't doing the pullups. Men are stronger than women. It's a physiological fact. Are there some women who are stronger than some men? Of course. But the strongest women will never be as strong as the strongest men. So, by all means, prove you are strong. Just don't whine about women looking like "failures". I don't see that at all. Great job on the pullups.

Good job this is a perfect example of sticking with it! When I started 90x I could not do one pullup, I used bands for the first week and then I used the chair to assist me. By the end of month 2 I was able to stop using the chait and do regular pullups, it felt great. I can now do 15 pull ups for the first set and 8-10 for the rest :)
wow ur better than me,... i cant even do half of 1, i cant even do half of a push up eather,.... do u got any tips that can help me build some muscle for my upper body like my arms,... and maybe my abs too.. nice job!!!!!
I'm pretty sure you are approaching the pull up bar backwards. Your head won't come up as close to the door frame if you turn around and hold the bar facing your kitchen. Great job though!

You already look like your in great shape. And your lucky enough to be very attractive. Don't worry about your form, you have the right attitude. I would recommend also loking at crossfit as well as p90x. I could easly see you on a magazine cover...

I just got the p90X pullup bar. Im concerned becuase it seems the screws do not fully tighten the parts together.

Your arms are really starting to look great! 15 is not far away. Practice some half way isometric holds to build endurance.
