valzhnyna mort as seen by dick button She's the whole package. she obviously has the athleticism, the grace, the beauty, the music, the choreography, and the jumps. she only lacks the experience of a seasoned competitor, but that will come with time. She's a shoe-in for the Belorussian team, or the American, if she can get her citizenship in time. The inside edges, the flutz, as well as the vernacular English could be a problem. Time in the Big city will iron that out.

Loved factory of tears. can anyone tell me if she ever did gymnastics. She uses gymnasts as a metaphore in the poem Belarusian I. She has the gymnastic body type, and , of course, belarus has had great gymnasts.

This girl is soo talented.. I've known her since she was 11 (we went to the same school in Belarus), and the last time I saw her read her poetry was about 12 years ago, I think.. It's wonderful that there is this video of hers here on utube. Keep it up Mort, and I look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in 2 weeks! :)

Very nice. I have read her "Factory of Tears" for a Seminar class in English and as a semester project I have to interview her. She seems very warm, and has gentle, yet faceted reading voice.
