Mustaine's work is WAAAAAY MORE intrinsic and complicated compared to Metallica. I like both bands, don't get me wrong - this is NOT Dave's best performance. I have seen them twice live since this aired and Dave was phenomenol. Also, Dave's singing style is best for Megadeth, as is James's for Metallica. Two completely different bands! Thank God for Dave getting booted in 1983. Thank God for MEGADETH!!!

well you really cant tell by the video. I could barely make out what he's playing let alone the quality of his sound. In the studio, you could duplicate that tone with amp modeling pretty easily. Ive been using Amp modeling for recording since 2002. I can get a sound almost exactly like my old vintage 1978 50W tube half stack.
