  • yo ty, dosnt 463 fl heavy when ur last warmup is 333?

also what hav ur numbrs bn lately?

  • @rctriplefresh5 nah and it wasnt, it was 393 the last warmup. i havent deadlifted since this

  • Very strong dead lift, keep it up :)

  • @grafixmad1 thanks bro!

  • you should start using a hook grip the mix grip will fuck your back up its just a matter of time. you can also hold more weight with hook grip

  • @krb0123 no you wont and no you cant

  • @PowerlifterTy16 yeah it will. mix grip will fuck your low back up i guarantee its just a matter of time. it twist your spine slightly and will make an imbalance in your hips. im just tryin to help u out. and if you learn to do hook grip properly, youir thumbs will fall off before you lose grip

  • @krb0123 look it up, thats how powerlifters deadlift, 90% of lifters deadlift with a mixed grip. The best deadlifters in the world. learn a lesson from them

  • @PowerlifterTy16 listen dude im not critiquing your lifitng you are a good lifter all im saying is hook grip is so much safer on your lower back and everyone knows that. i obviously dont have any vids but i am a powerlifter myself and completely fucked my lower back up by pulling mixed grip. i switched to hook grip and my back problems went away 100 percent and i can hold more weight. idk maybe im one of the few who pull better hook grip. but look it up mixed grip has injured alot of people

  • @PowerlifterTy16

    Nice deads, Tyler.

I hit 455 for 1 this week. I'm going to shoot for 460 next week. I'm looking to hit 340 on my bench next week as well.

  • @Watergun8770 im sure you will do well. Good luck dude!

  • @PowerlifterTy16

    Thanks dude.

I felt like I probably could have done more this week. 455 felt pretty good. I'm just trying to get my bench up. I should be able to hit 340 on monday.

  • @Watergun8770 why u dlt ur channl?

  • good job bro!!!!!!

  • @sgtfitz71 Thanks a lot man!!!

  • damn nice lift bro. i need to start deadlifting but not enough weights unless i did for high reps. please check my new vid :)

  • @fivefingerbp98 Thanks man! man i am so dan sick of people only commenting just for their own good just so i have to watch ur video i fucking am so sick of people putting "oh come watch my video please" in the comment to MY fucking video.. FUCK OFF BRO! lmao jk! ill check it out bro

  • @PowerlifterTy16 lol i almost cried :( haha. what is your bench up to now though dude?

  • @fivefingerbp98 ahahha.. Last week i benched 243X10 with possibly a rep to spare. Not as sharp as i was with power and speed on my reps, but prolly still good enough for 330ish

  • @PowerlifterTy16 nice bro. why is it 243?

  • @PowerlifterTy16 how much do you think you could hit 265 for? my strength seems to not be improving much. im going for 265 for 2 sets of 5 this week hopefully that;s enough for at least a 305 plus max lol.

  • @rctriplefresh5 prolly 265X7-8

  • Yo man congrats on pulling 501 at your meet, but when i saw your channel you said you pulled 500 before @ 165lbs a few years back? Not understanding this bro, how could you have dead lifted 500 @ 165 and still only pull 500 @ 208? With all the training you have been doing weighing 40lbs more your dead lift bench squat should be higher then your personal best @ 165 body weight years back? I know when / ever i gained weight my numbers went up and im pretty sure that how its works with most people.

  • @BeastBodyBuilding Thanks man. Well seeing all the thumbs up, everyone wants answers. If you told me you pulled 500 at 140 bodyweight then pulled 500@180, i wouldnt believe you either. Well when i was 17 years old, i ate, slept, dreamed, just lived for deadlifting. At that time i wasnt concerned about any of my lifts because i realized i was such a strong puller. I was able to pull 425@165 without much training at all, and wanted to continue onto deadlifting 500

  • @BeastBodyBuilding So with a few months of training, and underthe circumstances, i was pissed, punched myself in the face twice, and deadlifted 500, but with a mad hitch, worse than the one in my meet, it took about 10 seconds to complete the rep. I was happy as hell, and at the time i had a video of pulling 405X5@165 on here which shouldve made it a lil more believable. But sadly i deleted all my 165 videos cuz it was so long ago, but i learned my mistakes.

  • @BeastBodyBuilding So whether you believe me or not, that is not my concern. I admit i wouldnt believe anyone about it either, but all that matters is that people in my gym, and my friend knows that i pulled 500@164

  • @BeastBodyBuilding Honestly too i think my gut weight doesnt help either. Its a win lose situation that balances out. Yes i am stronger, but now i have a small belly, which i have to bend over n pick up the weight, and stand up with my extra fat that i have, its ahrder to get lower with my legs too, believe it or not, but you wouldnt know cuz you r ripped ad fuck n have always had abs :p

  • @PowerlifterTy16 Well put i guess but i also mentioned your other lifts where pretty much the same then as well ? If so bro id day cut back to 165 and hit those numbers again, All those numbers at 165 weight class, 400 Raw Squat, 300+ Bench, and around 500 dead lift is pretty much world class numbers.

  • @BeastBodyBuilding Honestly i dont get all these "thumbs up" lol, like no one watches my videos n when you comment you get like 2-4 thumbs up its crazy. Idk who told you my squat was at 400 @ 165. I have squatted 350 sky high at 165, and prolly 315@ parallel if i was lucky. And my bench was 275.. Thanks tho lol, but when i cut weight i lose strength like crazy

  • @BeastBodyBuilding and 275 was tng, so prolly 255-260 paused

  • @PowerlifterTy16 thanks for ignoring me. as usual brosef.

  • @rctriplefresh5 hitting 253 for reps tomorrow

  • @PowerlifterTy16 how are you warming up for 253? i think my warmup totally screwed me over the other day lol...i wanted 260x5 and 260x7 on bench and i warmed up with the bar for 15, 135x2, then 210x1 then went to 260..and first set barely got 3..then tried 255 and got 5..then tried 265 and got 3 lol.

so obivously my warmup was horrible.

    i;m trying 265 for 2 sets of 5 on wednesday thinking of trying 45x20, 135x5, 185x1, 230x1...265x5.

what is ur goal for 250

  • @rctriplefresh5 I am doing the 5/3/1 Program, so 192X3, 222X3, then 253X8 i only did. Getting a lil weaker but my endurance is up

  • @PowerlifterTy16 and u never answered my other comment about ebastbodybuilding ha tylerrr.

  • @BeastBodyBuilding tyler, not to start anything as we are cool now but how can you say that the reason you pulled 500 at 165 and 500 at 210 is because you focused primarily on deads? you told me at 165 you also squatted 405 for reps and benched an estimated max of 315...so what is the reason those numbers were so high back then?

    j/c man.

and thanks for ignoring my comments now i;m not lifting you overhead.

  • @rctriplefresh5 ur a pain dude. I never told you i squatted 405, and if i did, i was dumb backthen n prolly did liek a 1/8 rep or something. And at one point i tried 315 and my power was good off the chest and got it to 0.5. but still coudltn get even 280, it was weird, my lockout sucked. and i dont really care, its in the best. And deadlifts were my #1 thing. its whatever

  • @BeastBodyBuilding I must ask bro, not hating, but do you have multiple accounts? cuz tons of people liked this comment lmao. At least ur attracting the attention to this video :)

  • @PowerlifterTy16 no idont have ultiple accounts..i think beast used his armfght and rmt account lol.

and how si your endurance better?

  • @rctriplefresh5 cuz i did better than last week on my other exercises. Ive been doing 2 mintues between sets to increase blood flow to my muscles in order to build more muscle, And to actually burn fat since my heart rate increases while taking such short time between sets and move around fast n change the weights

  • good job

  • @CHAlexReinhard Thanks!

  • slowly but surely I mean! haha

  • Stron Work Tyler looks lik yur slower but surely progressing!

  • @powabuilda Thanks Nate! I think i can do what i did here plus anohter 10-15 pounds prolly

  • Good PR. you made that look easy!

  • Sweet work Ty! That 463x2 was so fuckin easy

  • @IncredibleHulkRobert Thanks Robbo! Im pretty sure i can add another 15 pounds or so and still get 2 reps!

  • @dubfootball2 thanks man! yea i have already hit 500 last week at the meet (but hitched), but i think i can hit it without hitching at all within the next few weeks

  • wow that looked pretty easy for you!! you could up it 10-15 lbs and still hit it for a double I think

  • @ttorzzz thanks a lot dude! I agree dude! within the next few weeks itd be nice to hit 500 without hitching at all!

  • That was great Ty! That 2nd rep with 463 went up fast and easy!

  • @oratorman Thanks Matt! Yea it wasnt hard at all!

  • Hell yeah man! 463 didn't look to hard you looked good for 3-4! So touch go seems to work well at your house since your only lightly touching the floor. I see your sticking to conventional again as well.

  • @WeightLifterNerd yea, i have just been feeling really good lately conventional. I think its no secret that i am a conventional puller, but when my back starts feeling bad again ill switch to sumo again. Thanks a lot dude! yea there wasnt that much trouble with 463. I think i will pull 500 hitchless soon!

  • im getting jealous of your deadlift...ive been too scared to even try deads recently. i should be thankful my disc is doing decent right now. It still bothers me if i sit or stand too long(liek at work when i had a job..but doesnt hurt when lifting lol..)...but im slowly getting into it..gonna try sumo..and go light..gonna try 275 after squats and powercleans and then maybe go up 20 pounds a week lol.

  • @rctriplefresh5 Thanks man! I think ultimately you just gotta get used to deadlifts again and just take it easy like you said. Just do which way youre comfortable, just try not to round ur back. I still round my back but i try so hard not to, it helps. I would just go light til you feel comfortable to move up in weight. High rep sets kill ya. Id just stick with no more than 8 reps a set. Stiff legged deadlifts help me a lot too!

  • @PowerlifterTy16 yeah i thin right now i have the muscle ass to atleast do 475, but since i havent done deads the cns isnt used to them, and im probably at 405 now. I thin i could get 475 pretty quickly though(old form lol).....ill give light sumos a try though i thin my best with sumo is only 300 anyway LOL.

idk about stiff legs.. aren;t those just round back deads?

lol i remember we sued to call people gay for doing arched deads...those were the days :p

  • @rctriplefresh5 yea lol. Well they actually work the hamstrings and glutes as well cuz of having to tighten them up, which can ultimately strengthen the lockout from strengthening the glutes

  • @PowerlifterTy16 but im prob ust gonna stick with a single at the end of my workout....not high rep sets..just alight single ust to get bac into the movement!!!...with high rep sets im tempted to go a out..i get itnense with deads..thy are my lfit..or were. lol.

im tempted to go and try 500 now hahaha..but ill practice restraint.
