  • That is one fun vid! nice job and I really dig the lights on the car with the rain. I was checking out new ways to use my gopro. got some vids off my rc plane and just having fun with it. Keep the vids coming!

  • I used liquid tape

  • at 0:56 is that your wife or daughter coz she fine

  • That is my 14 year old daughter, perv.

  • how far is the cam away from the car at 2:20

  • About 18 inches.

  • @mempey are those the stock wheels?

  • Respond to this video... what method did you use to waterproof

  • you say WATERPROOF and MAMBA in the same sentence? how is such a thing possible!?

  • It isn't REALLY waterproof, more like water resistant. I put liquid tape on the esc circuit board. It will withstand being dunked in water, but not much pressurized water. I hosed it off after running it on the beach and ruined the ESC. Now I have 2 vxl's in it since they are waterproof.

  • @mempey darn, thats money down the drain.and no warranty on it?

so you now have a v-twin summit? how well does that work out compared to the monster? (besides of course the fact that it wont fry out when you get it wet lol)

  • @mempey ur runnning twin vxl's now but can u run mamba motor and twin velinion vxl 3s'

  • No, the connections are different, plus you can't fun one motor with two esc's.

  • @mempey arent there 2 motor conversion plates out on the market for the summit?

  • I'm not sure.

  • @mempey i thought there was cuz jetlag did it

  • what editing software do you use

  • Mainly Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Should get "z" a mini e-Revo vxl!!

  • Got one, lol

  • at 1:45 is that sparks

  • Rain drops

  • Best video awesome

  • great!

  • Wow ha ha, by far the best RC vid I have watched.

    Awsome editing my friend.

  • LOL, the rain shot is fantastic !

  • Thanks!

  • Is that a custom camera mount? If so, I really like it. If not, where can I find one?? :-)

  • I made it out of 2 aluminum yard sticks from Home Depot. Watch my "how to make an RC boom cam" video.

  • what kv are the mamba motors you use, im looking into putting one in my e revo but dont want to spend to much the 9000kv is just out of my price range

  • 2200kv, I love them.

  • can u put a summit body on a slayer

  • Hi, what editing software have you used for this vid?? cheers.

  • I use Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • great song and great vid, whats the name of the song?

  • lol, this is really awesome! :]

  • Thanks!

  • it seemed like that summit was haulling ass are you running 700 hos

  • Not only no, but heck no. Mamba Monster Maxx baby!

  • Niiice, man! You've done it again. Really nice song and awesome footage!! :)

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • Any snow hit there as of yet? Got a storm rolling through illinois now headed that way.

  • It is on the way, could be pretty bad.

  • Every single video you post, is a piece of art. Just amazing... again. But sure, the credits should be shared with the E-Revo, The Traxxas and of course, your son.

  • Thanks! That is a big compliment.

  • another sweet video my man

  • Thank you!

  • awsome vid enjoyed the old tune very fitting again very nice

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it.

  • I have a Summit and Slash, and my daughter (4) has some Disney crap car but is always out trying to play with me. Anybody recomendations on what to get her? I think the training mode is still too fast for her.

  • Hmm. Here is what I will probably do for my son who is almost 4. Get a Stampede, change the gearing to a small pinion, and a big spur. Lots of torque but not speed. Put it in training mode on a 6 cell nimh. That should be good. Or the same thing with a Rustler.

  • no way put him on nitro 4-tec 3.3

  • @nwflaguy1975 I gave my nephew a junk rustler with a tazer 12t esc, motor out of a cheap junk cordless drill, and gearing so high it would take a country mile to get any speed. check out my vid (little man's day with the boys and see what i mean. sorry mempey not jacking your site frome you by no means.

  • lol i bet :)

  • Ahh tennessee,BEAUTIFUL country. I go to deals gap once a year.

  • I used to have a Harley. My Dad and I have been there done the Dragon, oh and bought the t-shirt. Great ride. Beautiful country.

  • Awesome video as always Mempey! Congrats on the sweet brushless Summit. The video in the rain really shows how much the suspension on those things really travels... very cool

  • What he said!!!!! lol 5*

  • Thanks for the *'s

  • Thanks, I was anxious to try out the waterproofing on my Mamba. To be honest I was a little nervous, even though I know I did it right. lol

The suspension is pretty cool. I will try to get the same angle while crawling next time, so we can get a good look at it really flexing.

  • Where you at mempey? State wise.....

  • Tennessee

  • you never make any ad videos

  • nope

  • your welcome ondoard e revo back flip i think thats a first and do i see Z man driving the slash :)

  • He was driving it actually, I had an nimh in it and on training mode so he wouldn't break out ankles. lol

3s and a VXL would hurt, trust me.

  • Break our ankles, sorry. Long day today, can't type. lol

  • Very nice vid! The Gopro plus creative ideas are top most reasons for great youtube vids nowadays!

Have you tried 60fps mode for smooth slowmos? Gopro should be great for that. Cause if you slow down 60fps by 50% you have smooth 30fps left...

Now you made me want to reactivate my eSavage and mount the gopro in a similar cool way than you did :-) Stay tuned for that (we have nice snowy roads at the moment here in austria!

    Greetings, RCSchim

  • I actually filmed all of the clips for this video in 720p 60fps. I slowed it down way further than 50%. The back flip was at 25% I think. It is great for filming things that are not really that fast, 50% is sometimes not really noticeable I have found.

  • Let me know when you post a video.

  • awesome 5/5. is the summit brushless?

  • Heck yeah it's brushless. I put a Mamba monster in it and followed Squirellod's method of waterproofing the ESC.

  • ok cool

  • Hello, i have just got an ERBE brushless edition and here in finland it will still be snow for a long time, so how did you waterproof the mamba monster?

    Great vid

  • great video, its sweet to the all the clips in slow mo

  • Thanks!

  • Now that was some COOL rain footage. You gonna post any snow footage? Nice to see the little ones playing with the rc's as well.

  • If we ever get some snow.

  • Man I need to get one of those HDPro .. the quality is just great! 5*

  • Yeah, they rock!

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick video lol. and great choice with the song . love it.

  • Thank you.

  • I love the front Camera. Its realy cool to see the suspension work. Great job done there. (5/5)

  • THanks Dragon, I thought it would be cool looking.

  • Great song choice! Loved the video! 5*

  • sweet! one of the best slow-mo vids ever how many bodys do you have with your new summit so far i counted three i got that same rain e maxx dident mind he is finaly water proof 5*

  • Thank you! I have 3, stock red, black and the snow camo. Thanks for the stars.

  • wow! 780 very clear! my poor internet connection sux lol, took 6 min to load in HD, i need to upgrade lol.

  • Thanks!

  • Hey Mempey, 2 things. Could you check out my new video? And also, I ran my E-Revo in water for the first time today, it was great accept for one thing. I kept getting to much water into the back right tire, and it made the car jitter like crazy. Is their anyway to prevent that? Is their any way to prevent water from getting into the all of the tires that you've done?

  • In this video, I put electrical tape over the holes in the wheels. If I am doing a video or running it in dry conditions only, I remove the tape. If you get water in the tires, just put a little hole in the center of the tread and let the spin. It will sling all of the water out in no time.

  • Thanks.

  • Great one! I loved Z man's expressions in the swing. lol. And the Summit looks great with the waterproofed mamba and light bar. I loved the clips of driving in the deep puddles and spraying it everywhere. Killer rain shots dude!

  • Thanks man! Since YouTube is taking forever and a day for HD, surf on over to Vimeo and watch it is HD if you want.

  • Cool... didn't realize you had uploaded it there too. heading over to check it out. :)

  • Sick!

  • Thanks!

  • is the mamba monster in your summit wreck the gears and did you upgrade your shocks?

  • No, I have it turned down so I don't tear it up, plus I only run it on 4s. The shocks are still stock.

  • sweet! i need one of those cams!

  • They are awesome. Watch it again in HD, when it shows up.

  • k i will, if my stupid 2mb internet connection can do it.

  • Damn You WMG!
