  • Watching this on iPlayer right now. The fail was so monumental I googled it to see if anyone else noticed.

  • The funniest bit is that Stuart agrees with him blindly.

Would have been TV GOLD if he replied "it's Internet Service Provider, not Protocol"

And if he's being really picky he'd have said "VoIP is a protocol to allow telecoms over bandwidth, not yout idea of ISP!"

  • @petethomson You know what, this guy might be partly right. According to Wikipedia ''Telecommunication is the transmission of information, over significant distances, for the purpose of communication. '' Networks allow people to communicate over significant distances and ISP's faciltate the communication, so perhaps he has a case in that respect?

  • @NikonSanz referring to stuart? you don't have to offer mobile service (or landline phones, or whatever else) to be a telecommunications company. ISPs sell internet access to ppl, which is a form of telecommunications.

the tech advisor was pretty clueless.

  • @petethomson Im reffering to the bit where he says ISP allows telcomms over Bandwiths. Im not disputing he is wrong on ''Internet Service Protocol'', cos I dont know what the hell that is. lmao.

  • @NikonSanz yeah, i have a video related to this too. i have the telecomms over bandwidth crap repeated like three times, haha

  • "It's a protocol that allows telecoms over bandwidth?": there's a mission statement for Viglen IT expertise. Gerald Ratner style.

  • He says "bandwidths" not bandwares although it still doesn't make sense

  • Who is the older man and why does he know nothing about these acronyms? Bandwares? Protocol? BBC is doing another sterling job of miseducating people about computers! Congratulations!

  • the man for scrupulous detail and telecommunication expert.............. lolz

  • I was about to send 800 trillion dollars worth of business towards Viglen; based on this shocking performance I think I'd probably be best finding someone else.

  • Absolute brilliant. He also mentioned to Lord Sugar later on that he had a "license to provide BroadCom".... Sorry? Broadcom. What a Tit #Fail

  • Telecoms over bandwiz? Bandwids? Bandits? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY BORDAN?

  • Epic IT MD FAIL.

  • I wish stuart had spotted it and corrected him.

I was like "errr no it isnt" and obviously the first thing i do is youtube it - glad someone else picked up on it!!

  • "Interent Service Protocols" are all the rage over at "Vidgerlen."

This episode had ROFL written all over it.
