Thanks for sharing this song ! Great hard rock tune - I can hear the influence of Free "Fire and Water" era and Black Sabbath first album - Queen was very young and a bad ass heavy rock band at this early stage.
Someone should have bitched slapped these guys to NOT release this song on an album. This was obviously early on, maybe even pre-Queen I, or at least when that was current. But this song has a Black Sabbath meets Jimi Hendrix groove to it. They should have gone back to the vaults and pulled it out and produced it up, while keeping the dirt. All heavy and raunchy, right smack on the second side of Innendo, or something.
Yeah, I also don't like that "oh god, it's all colorful, let's jump and party, let's put f***ing keyboards all over our songs" feeling of the 80s. Thank God I was born in 1985 so when the 80s were gone I was just a little kid.
Lucky you. I had to live through it in my teens and that was bad enough but the very worst part was re-living it again when it all got brought back and WORSE THAN THAT - being accused of liking it to begin with or somehow creating it!! Not True!
Queen is the most creative band!!they were always ambitious..pure genious!!!thank you for posting this..i wish i was alive in those days. This generation in music sucks..thanks to the media!!!

the 80's weren't the best for Freddie and thats another thing to admire about him, the early 80's were kind of retarded.

I can imagine Free jaming to this song and having a great time
Only Paul Rogers couldn't hope to sing like this ;) hint hint Paul don't try to assume Freddies role in 'Queen + Paul Rogers' wanker!

I change my mind about my earlier comment
Of course Paul is not the same but I saw some great footage of Queen+PR on the queenofficial page and goddamn they sound tight.
Bri and Rog certainly still have it aswell
