If it was considered to be a glitch, they'd make it so you can't ride them. They have, in fact, removed the ability to plant C4 onto the MAVs and the EODs because Dice considered tose to be a glitch. They were very quick to do so, when you consider patch speeds for most games. If they considered this to be a problem or a glitch, they would A -- make the high surfaces inaccessible or phase-through, or B, not permit the MAV to reach that height as they have with Grand Bazaar.
@Koniving next patch they are stopping this MAV transportation, Im not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. the mav allows players to explore and manipulate the environment to their advantage, surely this requires some tactical nous? or are they just camping cunts?
@CHEESYhairyGASH You can still, in fact, ride them even with the latest patch. It's merely trickier to get on them. Although you are right they do seem to be working in that direction due to complaints; particularly with the Strike at Karkand map where you can reach the top of the tallest building via MAV, but the MAV itself cannot reach that high. However to the left of US spawn is a second floor not intended to be entered; where you phase through walls and floors, entered via window overhang
@TheLandBased Personal experience in 64 player games seems to saunter around the concept of class or role specific squads. Squad of snipers with occasional support up high. Squad of Engineers with support and/or medic dealing with vehicles. Squad of mixed classes or entirely assaults rushing objectives. Great squads bring in different squad benefits/perks to best suit their collective role. The best squads have an organized leader assigning both objectives and tactics.
I dont know why you guys are so mad. In real life we'd use grappling hooks to get up here in the first place like in BF2 Special Forces or you know....just walk up the highway ramp.
