Before I explain the stereotype, I'll preface this by sying that I am black and I thought the skit was harmless and funny. PLUS... there are truths to EVERY stereotype, which is what makes comedy, comedy... This stereotype is the middle-aged black woman who "doesn't Play that" when it comes to anything, and is nonchelantly ruthless, even with the pettiest things. This is the antithesis to the typical "angry black woman" stereotype because she's calm cool and collected.

There are countless non-white people (including myself) who have seen videos like these before and found them quite entertaining. White people may make fun of the actors in this video but keep their discriminations within the comic realm of humor, as opposed to publicly offensive or harmful. Instead of awkwardly avoiding an inherent issue, this satire confronts it in a healthy manner.

There are black people like this... and I'm black, and have a neighbor this reminds me of. LOL... The fact is that there are stereotypes for blacks, whites, hispanics, and we have fools in each ethic background who are living examples of those stereotypes.
