@rodeocowgirlboots Well they have legal problems with Jackie Fox who didnt want to be part of the movie at all, that's why the bass player is a "fictional" character (kind of a mix of all the bass players the band had), They also had legal problems with Lita that's why she is also in the background.

Also and the main thing the script is based in Cherie's book that's why is more centered on her an Joan, the book is more centered in them too

I have been a fan of The Runaways for a while now. Cherry bomb is my favorite song by them. Where did you find this video??? All of the other videos of cherry bomb on youtube sound like they are playing at a slower speed. This video was very clear, and the song sounded just like it does on the album.

I've known about Joan Jett (and Lita Ford for that matter) since the '80s but it was only after the "Runaways" movie came out a few months ago that I found about this amazing band. It was a slap to my face too, but I'm making up for it now. This band has now become my favorite rock band of all time!

Wow. As a 40 year old music fanatic, I keep asking myself how the hell I missed the Runaways. I remember Joan's hit in 1980 and I remember Lita being around in 83-84. I am totally stunned that I have no recollection of this band. I feel like an idiot........
