@xic4loca I like what you're implying. It's funny! However, to be fair, a lot of youger men (as in <30) are still gymnasts themselves, are often coaching boys, or (most often) have no idea who Tammy Biggs is and really wouldn't care. Most of the men I work with as a coach are older, they're parents, and most definately not creepy. There are plenty of better ways to get off than watching a 1 minute video with Tammy in it, lol!
hmm would this work for level 3's or just more advanced round-offs? I doubt the kids understand straight leg landings yet or could even cover the length of a mat theyr so short...any good ones for beginners?
@apluskel for beginners do 'slow-motion' snap down drills from double stacked panels...AND drill straight-leg blocking cartwheels up onto the panel mat from the ground... AND have them start ON TOP of a HALF panel mat, then reach from one end of the mat down the 'line' made by the crease and do cartwheel-step-in to the other end. :)
@apluskel use the shorter panels....for my level 3's i have them run into it on a longer panel and they can get it. also a good one for them is unfold the panel to half and have them start with hands on the ground and land up onto the mat...requires them to learn how to push with their shoulders to get up and rebound. you can also use a hula hoop at the end instead of a chalk box and they'll like it :)
another good one for teaching the push is turning the panel mat sideways and going over it!
woaahh the statistics of ppl watching this is:
Female 13-17
Female 35-44
Male 45-54 <---- o.O
