GREAT video. What people who oppose the war fail to realize is that no one wants to be there. No one wants to continue the war, but some people believe that it's better to be there now, than to have to go back in to stop a genocide. Letting a genocide occur is immoral. Causing one, is even more so. Finish the job, then leave.

yeah..I am a barbarian. I will kill to keep from being killed..if that makes me a barbarian. I will even kill to protect you, even if you are ungrateful and don't understand. My family has been in America for at least a dozen generations, we have sacrificed many loved ones so that others may live in safety and peace. You must think that other countries are comprised of peaceful peeps and you are wrong.
Kudos to Hodes for listening, kudos to the Moms for voicing their opinions. The presidents brainwashing has paid off relative to his tying support for his misguided plan to support for the troops. Sadly, there is no chance for "victory" as this war is all about religion. We will be there forever, Iraq will be a police state.
Right a police state...like it was under Saddam ? If you haven't noticed the Iraqi people atleast have a right to vote in thier own country now,and voice thier opinions they can walk in the street and hold protest.Just like we do here in America that doesn't quite sound like a police state to me.We are trying to help and rebuild Iraq the terriost are trying to stop that process by killing American troopes,Iraqi troops,Iraqi police and thier own people.
They can voice their opinions? Really? What about the opinion of the majority of Baghdad citizens that they want us out of their country? It seems many of the Iraqis that walk down the street are getting blown up or abducted and killed only to be dumped on the side of the road. It is a police state and will continue to be so for a very long time.
How do you know many of them want us out of thier country ? have you been to Iraq ? or did you just learn all your information on Iraq from the internet and the media.I'm going to Iraq later this year and unlike people like you im actually going to be doing something about the situation there. You can also blame iraqi's getting abducted in the middle of the night on terrorist.
Kudos to Mr Hodes for listening, kudos to the Moms for voiceing their concerns. Frustrating that they just don't get it. There is no "victory" to be had there. No chance of a stable country short of the US occupying it for decades to come. This is a war based on religion and neither side (Sunni or Shiite)will back down and govern jointly.
Great Video. When will the Dems understand that the only solution is VICTORY. If we cower and retriet then we will be fighting this war for the next century.
True Bushies and not even representative of the military let alone the general public. America wasn't promised an endless war in Iraq and doesn't want one.The ol' "America, love it or leave it" crowd doesn't call the shots anymore.
He said "military supporters" because THAT is what he meant. YOU however find yourself in the lofty position of criticizing his choice of words, and then you add the inuendo of "you'll go far in Washington"...Why don't you just be honest, come out and call him a dick.

When the 'Liberal Congressman & female associate' ask "The Moms of Fury" (Dads too): 'What can be done to achieve victory,' there is a clammoring of positive excitement and an expression of resolve on the Conservative end. Enjoyable...I vlogged it on my YT.
The democrats and left never wanted victory - it messed their worldview. They have to loose to save their own face. It's very difficult to be more pathetic than that. Iraq is one chapter in a decades long war. If the left gets their way and loses Iraq, the war will still continue. There will be no peace for America -or anyone else for that matter. We are only at the beginning of an era of war. The longer it takes for people to wake to that fact, the uglier it is going to be.
This war has been going on for decades - we just didn't want to be bothered with it. In Iraq We're actually fighting enemy #4 right now. We won the war against Saddam. Then we beat the Ba'athist insurgents, enter he Jiahdis and we beat up Al Qaeda badly. Now the jihad continues -Iran steps stirs up a proxy war - trying to incite Shiites against Sunnis.
1knightrider: Partially true. Many, not "every", major country bought the falsified "evidence" provided to them by the U.S. Meanwhile, the UN weapons inspectors and the IAEA were saying, 'Slow down, we're not so sure.' Regardless, most major countries correctly believed invasion would be a disastrous response.
Sorry but different countries intelligence communties was the one that gave us the information not the other way around. And the only Major countries that did not want us to Invade was Russia, France and Germany who was the main benefactor for the corrupt Food for Oil program.
1knightrider: I guess it depends on your definition of major. Other non-participants in the coalition of the bribed and coerced: all of South America, all of Africa, China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Canada, Mexico, etc. Nations that have bailed out of the American mess: 16, so far.
All the countries you mention dont have much of a military any way except for China and 9 out of 10 times china will disagree with the US anyway so they dont count. And the countries that left is just scared of losing their power in office if they dont listen to cowardly lefist groups.
1knightrider: Actually, the countries that have left Iraq are disgusted over the false pretenses offered for invading, are sickened by how badly America has mismanaged the occupation, or their leaders are scared of losing office if they don't listen to their majorities. Democracy and morality suck, don't they?
1knightrider: Now you're not making sense. Why would a politician be afraid of losing power if his opposition is a small, non-majority? Please cite one poll showing that the majority of the citizens in a country that has abandoned the American mess in Iraq supported remaining there. Even the majority of Brits want their troops out.
1knightrider: C'mon, you know that the CIA and Pentagon have acknowledged that they were all produced before the Gulf War, weren't attached to delivery systems, and were so degraded as to be unusable. Otherwise, baby Bush would be mentioning them every day. Deceive folks if you want, but do try to be more subtle.
Yes but didnt the UN weapons inspectors and the IAEA were saying ALL WMD was destroyed. And before we invaded they found brand New missles and engines that they were not suppose to have. So brand new missles found some MWD that was suppose to have been destroyed. So what else did they miss? I wonder.
Wrong. They were saying we haven't found any evidence of an active program, let us keep looking. They were right, Shrub was wrong - no active program. Liar or idiot, I'm not entirely sure which the answer is.
Yea right no active program then why would Some former Iraqi scientists, such as Gazi George, have claimed that stockpiled WMDs were "either buried underground or transported to Syria" before the war. Others supporting these allegations of transport to Syria have been Iraqi General Georges Sada, UNESCO award-winning Syrian journalist Nizar Nayuf and former Iraq Survey Group head David Kay.
1knightrider: Prisoner claims are always suspect. It seems Kay's been all over the map - Sen. Armed Services Comm., 1/28/04: belief that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction was wrong and called for an independent investigation into flawed intelligence. Let's debate honestly.

as if this congressman has never heard these arguments before...these are all the same ridiculous arguments that you hear on fox news...fucking ridiculous...say hello to what the 30% who support Bush have to say...I support the troops, thats why I dont want these idealistic, heated, misinformed idiots misusing our troops...
You realize only 30% support Congress right? Congress's approval ratings are lower than Bush's, post-election BTW. I like how you think you're more informed than people with family actually over there.
Ouch, bad timing birdyb24. Today the AP says it's up to 40% - highest in a year and higher than Bush's. It'd be even higher if it weren't for those of us that think Congress is not being aggressive enough in challenging the Cheney/Bush lunacy, lies, and damage to America.
The ordinary citizens have more common sense than the Congressman and his wife. The Congressman and his wife are reacting just as the peace-niks reacted to Viet Nam years ago. There was a bloodbath after we left Southeast Asia. Anybody remember what happened in Cambodia? Thank you GraniteGrok for posting this video. Thank the Lord that we have the internet to bypass the same people who lost the Viet Nam war for the US- the liberal media types and weak-spined Congressmen.
Actually, Cambodia had defeated their communist insurgency, until they were destabilized by the US drawing them into the Vietnam conflict. Result - Pol Pot and the killing fields. Pol Pot was then ousted by communist Vietnam while the rest of the world stood by. BTW, Vietnamese resolve against foreign invaders had more to do with the loss than liberals.
Hold on to your hat - we agree! He was one of the 20th century's greatest horrors. My point was that he achieved power due largely to US destabilization of Cambodia, and to mention that he was driven from power by communist Vietnam.
grammacurler: Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health - "We estimate that as of July, 2006, there have been 654,965 (392,979--942,636) excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war, which corresponds to 2·5% of the population." Our invasion under false pretenses and subsequent mismanagement has already brought a bloodbath to Iraq.
tokra1: Actually, it's less than 500/day if you take the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's mean number, and that includes the very violent first few weeks of the war. You're welcome to deny their figures, but if you don't have epidemiology credentials you're just another poser with a keyboard.
Oops, I re-checked my figures. It comes to about 540/day "excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war", if you take the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's mean number. Fudge it up or down, it's still a bloodbath that America sparked after ignoring predictions of exactly this outcome.
All the deaths in Iraqi should be blame on the Terrorist, there the ones who set off car bomb with children in, or commit suicde bombings not the US Military.
grammacurler: They aren't my numbers, but rather those of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. What are your epidemiology credentials?
Please don't invent premises for me, it's dishonest. I choose to highlight the evil I can do something about, not whine about other's evil as a justification for America's.
bush is a moron, i dont think you can change that, and i dont think you can change the fact the the Iraq war was a fraud and getting bloodier by the day.
If one agrees that we're at war with Islamofascists, which kicked into high gear on 9-11-01, then it demands an oppen front, lest you get random hits around the world. George Bush brilliantly created that front, with the added bonuses oof close proximity to the head of the snake:Iran; and the elimination of an ongoing gnat in the world's hide, Saddam Hussein. Bush will be regarded as a visionary years from now.
If we're at war with anyone, it should be against Bin Laden, you remember that guy right? But how many times has your president spoken of his convictions toward catching this criminal murderer? They don't exist. That's why Americans do not support the war in Iraq. We have things called priorities to take of, that have nothing to do with oil.
1. We've caught most of al qeada's leadership. 2. we caught the mastermind of every major attack since 2/26/93. 3. The terrorists say Iraq is the central front, only dems in DC say otherwise.
This "oil" argument is absolutely absurd. Iraq announced the countries that are getting the Iraqi oil - guess what, it isn't the US. Most of the contracts are going to China and India. So your phoney "no blood for oil" argument doesn't hold any water.
And you have a MASTERS" degree, I suppose? You have an ignorance problem: no reality sadly-- Real Americans don't quit, WE WIN! This war will be won and I hope you all melt in "Goreacle's" false global warming garbage --good fertilizer for the plants 'real Americans' need. JFT - AK
If congress gets their way and we retreat we will never win a war again. Our enemies will know that the Americans are without the backbone to fight for what's right. Hope you all are studying Arabic who believe that this war is unjustified. Heaven help us from the fools who drink Sheehan's and Rosie's koolaid.
Considering that Bush conned us all into this war, I take very little stock in his talking points now. Bush's (and this lady's) idea that Congress would leave our troops there in Iraq is just ridiculous. First, there's plenty of money for the troops until June. Second, the Congress could pass a small supplemental to cover the time needed to negotiate with Bush a date for redeploying out of Iraq.
LOL, you're an uneducated bumpkin that can't spell and think without asking Bush first, which is how people like you got us into this trouble in the first place.
First of all, Bush didn't pass the authorization to use force in Iraq, both parties did. Second, Bush said exactly what dems said before he was in office and thru 2003. The commanders on the ground should decide not Sommalia Murtha the corrupt nor any other armchair general.
They passed authorization because Bush and co. misrepresented (lied about!) the facts. Bush doesn't let generals make decisions, he only keeps the 'yes' men around. Generals who point out the facts get fired and because of that, we have continue to follow the delusional viewpoints like the one you, Cheney and like the people in this video all maintain.
Using the Moonbats' own rules, this CongressRat would not be allowed to make decisions or vote on issues regarding our troops and their mission. He doesn't have a son or daughter in uniform.
Oh, wait. The Moonbats' rule only applies to folks who don't agree with their tin-foil hat view of the world.
Go, Granite State moms and dads! Show the rest of the country how it's done. Let's take back our country from the surrender-monkeys.
Congress is not only selling our troops down the drain. It is selling our country down the drain. It may be popular right now to trash Bush and the mission, but in ten years people will wake up to terrorism in our own streets and wish we had shown a backbone when the war was being fought abroad.
Hello? being in Iraq does not prevent the terrorist from coming here... if they want to they'll be here, and our defenses will be useless because they are all over there!
Sorry - you are wrong. We have killed or captured tens of thousands of terrorists in Iraq. It's better to catch them in Baghdad than in Boston or Baltimore.
Wow, Bush certainly does have these women conned. They probably think that 9/11 was connected to Iraq and that the Administration didn't lie to get us into this war.
So one man ..alone.. has all the military, their wives, brothers, all conned. One commonality amongst folks who tear down this country is they haven't invested with their own lives or their families lives to preserve this land. If you don't like fighting for your safety shut up while we do it.
Baby siting a Civil war- Wrong!!!

as if this congressman has never heard these arguments before...these are all the same ridiculous arguments that you hear on fox news...fucking ridiculous...say hello to what the 30% who support Bush have to say...I support the troops, thats why I dont want these idealistic, heated, misinformed idiots misusing our troops...
asabry24 4 years ago
You realize only 30% support Congress right? Congress's approval ratings are lower than Bush's, post-election BTW. I like how you think you're more informed than people with family actually over there.
birdyb24 4 years ago

Thank the Lord that we have the internet to bypass the same people who lost the Viet Nam war for the US- the liberal media types and weak-spined Congressmen.
grammacurler 4 years ago
Actually, Cambodia had defeated their communist insurgency, until they were destabilized by the US drawing them into the Vietnam conflict. Result - Pol Pot and the killing fields. Pol Pot was then ousted by communist Vietnam while the rest of the world stood by. BTW, Vietnamese resolve against foreign invaders had more to do with the loss than liberals.
vrede420 4 years ago
Pol Pot was a communist. He drove city dwellers out of cities to collective farms where they starved or were tortured and killed.
grammacurler 4 years ago
Hold on to your hat - we agree! He was one of the 20th century's greatest horrors. My point was that he achieved power due largely to US destabilization of Cambodia, and to mention that he was driven from power by communist Vietnam.

grammacurler: Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health - "We estimate that as of July, 2006, there have been 654,965 (392,979--942,636) excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war, which corresponds to 2·5% of the population." Our invasion under false pretenses and subsequent mismanagement has already brought a bloodbath to Iraq.
vrede420 4 years ago
That is ridiculous - that would mean that 500 - 1000 Iraqis have been killed EVERY DAY since the war began! Do the math.
tokra1 4 years ago
tokra1: Actually, it's less than 500/day if you take the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's mean number, and that includes the very violent first few weeks of the war. You're welcome to deny their figures, but if you don't have epidemiology credentials you're just another poser with a keyboard.
vrede420 4 years ago
Oops, I re-checked my figures. It comes to about 540/day "excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war", if you take the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's mean number. Fudge it up or down, it's still a bloodbath that America sparked after ignoring predictions of exactly this outcome.
vrede420 4 years ago
All the deaths in Iraqi should be blame on the Terrorist, there the ones who set off car bomb with children in, or commit suicde bombings not the US Military.
1knightrider 4 years ago
I don't believe your numbers. I also don't agree with your premise that the US is the source of all evil in the world.
grammacurler 4 years ago
grammacurler: They aren't my numbers, but rather those of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. What are your epidemiology credentials?
vrede420 4 years ago

Bush will be regarded as a visionary years from now.
granitegrok 4 years ago
If we're at war with anyone, it should be against Bin Laden, you remember that guy right? But how many times has your president spoken of his convictions toward catching this criminal murderer? They don't exist. That's why Americans do not support the war in Iraq. We have things called priorities to take of, that have nothing to do with oil.

Where do you people get the crap you come up with? Get off your butt and research instead of letting Rats tell you how to think!

1. We've caught most of al qeada's leadership. 2. we caught the mastermind of every major attack since 2/26/93. 3. The terrorists say Iraq is the central front, only dems in DC say otherwise.
birdyb24 4 years ago

Second, the Congress could pass a small supplemental to cover the time needed to negotiate with Bush a date for redeploying out of Iraq.

holymakaflip211 4 years ago
LOL, you're an uneducated bumpkin that can't spell and think without asking Bush first, which is how people like you got us into this trouble in the first place.
thereallurker 4 years ago
First of all, Bush didn't pass the authorization to use force in Iraq, both parties did. Second, Bush said exactly what dems said before he was in office and thru 2003. The commanders on the ground should decide not Sommalia Murtha the corrupt nor any other armchair general.
birdyb24 4 years ago
They passed authorization because Bush and co. misrepresented (lied about!) the facts. Bush doesn't let generals make decisions, he only keeps the 'yes' men around. Generals who point out the facts get fired and because of that, we have continue to follow the delusional viewpoints like the one you, Cheney and like the people in this video all maintain.
thereallurker 4 years ago
Using the Moonbats' own rules, this CongressRat would not be allowed to make decisions or vote on issues regarding our troops and their mission. He doesn't have a son or daughter in uniform.
Oh, wait. The Moonbats' rule only applies to folks who don't agree with their tin-foil hat view of the world.
Go, Granite State moms and dads! Show the rest of the country how it's done. Let's take back our country from the surrender-monkeys.
And thank you, Granite Grok, for posting this.

Congress is not only selling our troops down the drain. It is selling our country down the drain. It may be popular right now to trash Bush and the mission, but in ten years people will wake up to terrorism in our own streets and wish we had shown a backbone when the war was being fought abroad.
DaMav 4 years ago
Hello? being in Iraq does not prevent the terrorist from coming here... if they want to they'll be here, and our defenses will be useless because they are all over there!
utubersf 4 years ago
Sorry - you are wrong. We have killed or captured tens of thousands of terrorists in Iraq. It's better to catch them in Baghdad than in Boston or Baltimore.
tokra1 4 years ago
tens of thousands... do you think that made a dent? The price per terrorist is breaking the bank.
utubersf 4 years ago
Wow, Bush certainly does have these women conned. They probably think that 9/11 was connected to Iraq and that the Administration didn't lie to get us into this war.
thereallurker 4 years ago
Yeah, if we were just nice to the Islamofascists, they would just leave us alone. No buddy, you're conning yourself. Wake up!
granitegrok 4 years ago
You're ridiculous. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11
thereallurker 4 years ago
So one man ..alone.. has all the military, their wives, brothers, all conned. One commonality amongst folks who tear down this country is they haven't invested with their own lives or their families lives to preserve this land. If you don't like fighting for your safety shut up while we do it.
