This is an amazing, singular pieceby Dio. I don't think he sang it too often though. It is the only really soft acoustic piece he performed. His voice is so restrained and he is careful with every syllable and pause in this. The song is a delicate one and he is treating it as such. Dio... I"ve never seen a singer able to match his voice, excepting. maybe Geoff Tate, but no even then Tate didn't have the graducal color and tamber and lilt that dio produced.

True Dio was one (if not THE ONE) of the best singers in HM. However have you heard Jorn Lande. Singer in lots of bands, naming Masterplan (the first album is the best) and his own project Jorn (listen to Spirit Black and Worldchanger) - he's also among the big ones.

Well, the term "devil" literally means "liar" so if you want to be known by that unflattering term that is up to you... This is what heaven sounds like... Blackmore and Dio is possibly the best partnership ever.......... It will never be music with a spirit like this, until people understand that it's more important to make beautiful music than original.... This is real. It almost seem like no music's real anymore.
