  • i can see my road and school in hounslow just before the plane lands

  • what do you call a virgin female cabin crew dead .

    funny lol

  • great....

  • whats with the retarded music?

  • why is this a special flight350 presentation if it's your video?

  • its prettey obvios this isnt heathrow tower if it was why would they be speaking in american accents and call themselves seattle

  • The ATC is now Heathrow but Seattle-Tacoma

  • At 5:41 it shows vehicles driving the way American's do...Not Heathrow...They drive on the wrong side of the street...

  • @TiBossII Yes actually it is Heathrow. The ATC is wrong, but that is Heathrow airport.

  • @TiBossII The British [and Indians Indonesians Japanese Australians New Zealand etc]do not drive on the "wrong" side -they merely continue a tradition that goes back over 700 yrs when the Pope decreeed that everybody must drive left- see The Straight Dope website for a good brief description of the history-to do with revolutions [french and American] Napoleon etc

  • @tim60s321 It was only a joke...I've lived in both India and Japan and have been through England before...Only a joke...

  • @tim60s321. Yes your right. It's the bloody Frogs who sometimes try to mess it up! After all, would you want a President named after an airport? Oh sorry, there was one! lol

  • felt like this guy was stepping down stairs on this approach

  • I don't know if it was supposed to actually be proper atc or if it was just thrown together but seriously, speedbird? Seattle tower? American accents in London? You should do a bit more research...

  • american accent for london heathrow tower, should have done your homework first

  • SEATTLE TOWER? come on man, you can do better than that!!!!!

  • very good movie , ... and song too -)

  • lovely video, but the music disturbs all the feelings

  • looks like a flight from VEGAS

  • Comment removed

  • It would be nice if the ATC communication synched with the video. This is not London Heathrow. You can hear the weather report from Kansas City Center for weather warnings in the midsection of the United States.

  • @thumbun it seattle

  • VERY NICE!!!

  • Virgin Atlantic's calllsign isn't Speedbird.

  • @ boris09ster these videos works so much better without the music

  • what seat is this

  • nice

  • During heavy turbulence those wings shake as if they are going to fall off.

  • Nice view of the Robin hood round a bout at the top of west hill Wimbledon/Putney around 2.35-2.50' and Richmond Bridge at 3.50'

  • at 1:27 he clears alaska 10 to takeoff, asa10 is a flight from seattle KSEA to orlando KMCO. so you must have your atc audio wrong budd

  • How can someone who is just arriving herself, welcome you in a place she isn't at yet!? ;)

You're only on the ground 4 seconds and she's coming on like a fucking mayors wife!

  • @Sander33333 You've got to love George Carlin! ;-)

  • @0321Sjoerd Dat klopt ja ;)

  • That wing is dancing around too much

  • at 4:21 is that twickenham stadium?

  • yup it is :)

  • sweet landing

  • shes a big girl, yes she is .

    but a really pretyt one.

  • 747 heaven there at Heathrow!!!

  • looks lke a a340

  • No it doesn't, if it was then engines would be so far apart.

  • oww tomorrow im going from LHR t SFO arghh never flone before lol nice video 5

  • Sitting wrong side of the plane for a landing towards the west. Starboard is far better - magnificant view of London town. Always choose RHS of plane if you're LHR bound

  • how many hours from sfo to lhr ??

  • 10 minutes .... compliments US Space shuttle Enterprise/Atlantis/Endeavor :)))))

  • midnightatopia i have seen my psychiatrist,s on many occasions he says i should forward the bill to you for my treatment! it comes to £23.654 p as i am perfectly NORMAL! he accepts all credit cards but prefersCASH for a 2% discount!

  • Why not ATC from EGLL? :-P

  • Comment removed

  • my house at 4.04 which i share with my wife , at 4.08 thats my girlfriends house, at 4.27 thats my other girlfriends house at 4.34 thats my secertarys flat which i have the keys for,...............

  • I think I see your psychiatrist's house at 4:52...

  • LOL i give u a plus for that!

  • Air Canada hanger at 5:33

  • Air Canada dont have a hangar at LHR

  • Oh really, pause it at 5:33 you goof does that not say Air Canada in red with a huge maple leaf on the roof of the hanger.

  • it's not an Air Canada Hanger, too far from the airport...

  • So explain why it clearly says Air Canada, what do you have a problem with Canadians or something because it says it on the roof of the building.

  • It's probably their UK Operations Office...

  • it obviously does

  • stick to your computer

  • what the fuck, dont talk shit to me like that...iv been heathrow plenty of times and see that hanger...and this is deffinately heathrow i can tell by the terminals

  • You must be on drugs because they dont have a hangar you thick cunt. BTW its spelt HANGAR not Hanger, a hanger is what you hang your gay gimp suit up with

  • you are right, definately Heathrow. Runway 27L landing.

  • Thank you tommy, by the way, your name "TommyA350" how is the A350 gettng along in process

  • your welcome. I have flown out of Heathrow so many times I know it like the back of my hand,(especially Terminal 4 which is shown just after touchdown in the video).

As for the A350,yes,its going ok.still a few years from planned Entry into service so we shall have to see. Roughly 500 have been sold so far so its looking good!

I just hope that they deliver it on time unlike the A380 and unlike Boeing with the 787... :)

  • really smooth landing.

  • Very nice video. Good very god shot :)

  • one thing that amazes me about planes is that the wing always looks like its flimsy and going to break off but it can still support two engines... thats soo kool ;)

  • amazing vid, whats the background music called?

  • im flying to heathrow tonight

  • wing was flexy

  • Omg. Love when the plane goes through the clouds

  • It must have been a windy day.

  • i thought that only virgin atlantic 747 land in heathrow, and 747 go in manchester or smthing

  • Well if one takes off from Heathrow, it has to go somewhere. In this case, SFO.

You need to learn a thing called logic and common sense.

    Some people just amaze me.

  • At 4.21 what stadium is it? Twickenham?

  • 4:21

  • This is the excact video as ivorgeorge. I can tell because there is a small scratch on the same spot, the wing flops about alot when hes close to landing, and there are a few planes waiting for take off beside the runway. BTW the song is called "Early morning landing at Heathrow"

  • Waring this video was copied from someone else.

  • Yes you are right. just check the following,

    Under Heading :

Boeing 747 Landing At Heathrow from inside plane

I dont know who actually owns it. But the one from boris09ster was posted on Aug 2006.

Nice video and very good touch down.

  • too much talking.

  • u can see the wing and enigen bouncing on the approach

  • I know what flight number it is, it's virgin atlantic flight 19.

  • I think so to .. ;)

  • Virgin Atlantic 19 goes for Heathrow to SFO airport. Virgin 20 goes from sfo to heathrow. This is probably Virgin 20.

  • 1:27 - I like when it enters the clouds - nice music too.

  • An absolute smooth Landing....

This is how u can identify a great Pilot.

  • your video is beautiful

  • 02:01 welcome to England!

  • Should have put sound still good video

  • me see big house below me have 3 wifes 20 kids.me stay me, claim asylum you english fool you pay,u loose job you get no help me see A,team on satilite tv , me say you are fool sucker,me get all benefits you loose

  • haha wicked

  • me asylum seeker on plane me stay u pay

  • great !!!!

  • i bet that pilot was damn tired after a flight from san francisco to heathrow overnight and landing in the early morning! i would land it then have a million coffees to stay awake to taxi to the gate XD but seriously, how do these pilots manage 12 hr flights and stuff? anyone know plz tell me

  • Well, steeeven1, I think the pilots sleep during the day so that they can manage staying awake. Don't forget about the autopilot which flies the plane for them. Before start checklist sets the autopilot and the climb checklist says to engage the autopilot. Also, there are usually one or two extra pilots along with the captain and the first officer. It's tiring. Imagine how many times the pilots would have to use the bathroom if they drank a million coffees! (The caffeine is a diuretic)

  • oh right, i didnt know that. thanks. i forgot about autopilot =D

  • There isnt any extra pilot or pilots, what are u talking about ?

Unless its a training flight, in a normal flight there is a Captain, a First Officer and Flight Engineer.

You should have said that both Captain and First Officer are trained pilots and one of them can take a nap while the other can take control and just for your info that there is an Auto Pilot function but that doesnt allow the pilot (Either Captain or First Officer) to turn on the auto pilot and have sleep.

  • True I guess. But the First Officer and the Captain don't necessarily take naps at exactly the same time and wake up at exactly the same time. The flight engineer isn't always needed. There just needs to be someone monitoring the flight displays so that if there is any problem, it can be taken care of right away. Also if ATC is trying to talk to them, there needs to be someone to respond to that, even when talking to ATC, the pilot remains silent and the First Officer responds back to ATC.

  • so fast approach

  • The music, and not the ATC chatter was the work of the Belgian Composer Bruno Missone, and NOT Yo Yo whatever the name is. The title is "Early Morning Landing at London Heathrow". The ATC chatter is inappropriate as it was recorded at Houston(Texas), and is evening traffic transmissions anyway.

  • recording was from KSEA Seattle Washington

  • Why did you fuck it all up with ATC?

  • great video--5*

  • Must be quite an old Video. The old South stand at Twickenham is still there.

  • لبي مننم منتؤنمر قحخهث قحخصثحقخر بجحبهجحبجح يبخححيخ حخببهخس تنرارؤترانارر هعبهبعسخحع

  • wtf? srry i dont understand

  • omfg i was in there i remember wat they sed :)

  • u div..

  • I like this one. Just because .

  • lose the music and comentry you stupid cunt

  • Someone should do a video like this with the Boeing 777-300ER!

  • dear god them wings are almost flapping

  • yeah. they were scared if wing gonna break. lol

  • They're designed to flex like that. Perfectly normal. ;)

  • thats true but it still scares the s..t out of me

  • 32 747!!!!

  • Can anyone tell me why the slats retract on reverse thrust engage? Thanks.

  • 747-400's, there's no way a '744' can be mistaken for any other jetliner. The stretch 'mega' top and the winglets tell the 744 apart from the other members of the 747 'family'. People do the same thing with the 777, saying it's some other twin-engine jetliner. The 777 has a squared-off end on the fuselage rather than the 'cone' shape.

  • was this vid copied from IvorGeorge? coz this seems exactly similar to his VS 747 landing...

  • 1:36 you should have faded the music out and let the ATC be the music.. it would have been better.

  • music sucks, but great landing

  • u fatty asses is a 747 400

  • Heathrow's ATC is much more formal. ATC here in the US is not as formal. And the ATC is actually Chicago (O'Hare), not Seattle.

  • Well, Formal is good!!! But, Relaxed iz much better! ATC that I have dealt with have been! Wonderful People! MuchlurvFlipper

  • It starts as the SEA tower and then shifts to Chicago center.

  • no its a,single engine cessna,

  • Hahahaha. Verrrry funny. NOT!

  • this is airbus 340

  • Wrong 744

  • u idiots its an 747-400 not a 744:P

  • 744 shortens for 747-400.

    You Idiot

  • but use 747-400 bcuz some people who myt be reading ur comment myt not get wat ur on about.

  • yea bro he's right. 747-400 is abbreviated as 744. lol

  • Is but i use the full name!!

  • yea me too

  • '744' is an abbreviation for 747-400. Some of us on this thread know the abbreviations and what they mean. Like the 777-200 is '772' and the A340-600 would be "A346" It makes the typing a little easier. All anyone who doesn't know what the abbreviations mean has to do is ask and people here will tell you.

  • i dont think so mate

  • It's a 747-400. And its a Virgin. ;)

  • look at the engines an a340s engines are spread out more a 744 is closer and this is a 744 but they are kind of hard to tell apart

  • I agree ATC ruins it, not because of it being over the video purely for the fact it is seatlle tower and the video is going into Heathrow.

  • lol. i was thinking the same thing.

  • I just moved, and watching this video just reminds me of the feling of coming ome

    I LOVE LONDON

f u to all the haters on london

1 uve probably never been there

    2 u guys r njust jealous

  • you sound like a right American to me

  • i did o to an american schoolfor years, but im english...really

  • i might just be weird but i love ATC over video's like this only when it's the actual comms with the aircraft.

    London is shit!

    I live here

but always fly virgin when leaving

  • i love it when da plane is landins. bud mad i like me when da plane is landing snowin or raining... ooh ma god... like disz

  • dude u copied from crispychris

  • The ATC Ruins This Video

  • Just a note for next time......much better views of london from the other side of the plane.

  • Talk about freedom

I want to go to London so bad

    ...Canada's shit

    its like...hey look....a tree

  • London is great, lots to do and see, just too many foreign people there!

  • screw u i used to live outside of london and i want to go back

  • Yep good video but the ATC is not from the UK. We use QNH in milllibars not altimeter for a start and i am sure everyone controlling/flying at Heathrow wasn't American ! LOL but apart from that thanks for posting.

  • ATC chatter is from the United States, not UK.

The background music was composed by my friend Bruno Missone who lives in Belgium, and specializes in aviation music.Thank you.

  • A couple of things

    1) The ATC is not from heathrow, but a nice touch

    2) Speedbird is BA's callsign and "Virgin" is Virgin

    3) Currently VS020 from SFO comes in about 1100 (is this early mornign)

    But nice video

    LGWMCO

  • Interesting ATC radio. It's Kansas City based for a landing in London :)

  • gd vid but i think u cud of had some beter music

  • well done ...great landing ...

  • No one is perfect. But it would be nice if the ATC used was actual London Heathrow ATC. But the video of the landing is awesome.

  • I agree. 34R@LHR=wtf??? (I'm an aviation nerd, too!)

  • your right, sorry i was being a bit stupid on that day :S

  • you can clearly hear that the radios are made up! I myself am a real life pilot of 747- 300's and you do not request landing that early, you would do it about 2:57! but otherwise great video

  • of course the radios are made up, its just to add the atc effect, which i think sounds awesome, combined with the music in the video :)

  • this is cool who eva made dis good job m8

  • Do Hispanic people live in the UK.. in large numbers like in the US... Anyone have an answer........

  • Smooth landing !

  • Runway 34R doesn't exist at Heathrow!

  • Yes rather daft. Nice view but if you're going to use an ATC voiceover, at least use a british one for a Heathrow landing

  • 24 does exist

  • Not at Heathrow it doesn't. 27L, 27R, 09L or 09R.

  • Sorry, but bottleboy15 is right but also so are you tfj4375, their is a small runway in the middle of heathrow, runway 5, and 24. they only use it for small planes. but it is never really used

  • Runway 24 at Heathrow is a closed runway.

  • It's runway 23, not 24, which was used for landings only when there was a strong SW crosswind.. >35 knots. I think it was decommissioned in 2005.

It would have been called rwy 24 about 20 years ago when 28L was renamed 27L (and 28R->27R) and 10L/R was changed to 09L/R - due to the change in magnetic north.
