What is Super-Amoled-Plus? Samsung Galaxy-S2

@noorur They're counter-suing for Apple's look-and-feel lawsuit against them. It does seem like the Samsung DOES own the 3G technology which they're suing Apple for, but the FRAND agreement forces Samsung to come up with a agreement in payment. I really think patent wars are really fuked up in the era we live in though. Everyone nowadys sues one another.

@VaiographyCA samsung makes one of the best tv's and laptops in the world. the iphone screen is 3.5 inches so pixel for pixel iphone has a better resolution. but only by a margin.

But Super Amoled Plus display does have a bluish white which few people criticize and it does have lower resolution than Retina (which is the IPS LCD display) so far. If Super Amoled Plus gets extra white sub-pixel and higher resolution, which Samsung did with Super Amoled but not Plus, Super Amoled Plus HD will have outright better display than any with no flaw.

@MrAvtar103 Yeah except for resolution, Galaxy S2 got 400x800, which is much lower than iPhone 4. But there is no difference really. Super AMOLED Plus owns Retina.

Its thinner, bendable, foldable, could offer higher resolutions and contrast ratios than LCD, would use less power, and could be mass produced. OLED will be the screen of the future. Lg and apple are just maxing out the existing technology, samsung is getting a head start on something much bigger.
