what a blessing this song is....i am really touched when pastor winans quotes a verse from the book of Ezra. the rabbi blessed the congregration, the church said AMEN, and the church bowed their heads on the ground and starting praising God. WONDERFUL!!!
@summer heartfelt prayers go out to you,and your family,Death can be so hard to accept sometime, especially when they are so young, My brother was killed at 21years old a few years later my husband was shoot to death at age 26,I have repented since then and living a Godly life, from reading your comment I sense that you are saved also, take comfort in knowing that God loves you and he will see you through, Peace-N-Blessings
Sing it !!!! Prasie God to the end..We are the CHURCH so let the Church say AMEN!!!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus you died for me,Put my name in the book of Life Lord.I beleive you died for me and rose in 3 day just for our sins to be forgiving So I have to praise you ,You saw something in us that we may have a chance its up to us ! Prasie him and dont be ashame God is our 1 and only true love......
@derrickbaby43 because death is hard to accept especially in my case, but God has spoken so all I can say is Amen. It is worship when you accept what God has done, even when you may not want to, may not understand, or may be struggling with it.
And yes, I have been playing it all night and during the day. In the trying times of our journey we need to be reminded Not only 'who' God is; but that He Is faithful to fulfill every promise in our lives - if we would but only agree to believe and do all that He requires of us. I love my God!
Words can not express the blessing that I get while meditating on the words of this song; especially on this transitional journey. The Almighty, All Sufficient, All Powerful God has spoken; Yes, let us simply agree and say AMEN! I want my life to speak to the reverential respect for my Father in Heaven as He reveals wisdom, knowledge and understanding of HIMSELF. When He speaks let us listen and obey. Much love to all! God bless you Pastor Winans!
The first time I heard it was at Whitney Houstons services. Very appropriate for that occasion. It has been in my soul every since, been playing it all day. There is a blessing in music and songs. Thank you Jesus!
I have been humming this song since Whitney's funeral and when it came on the radio the other day, I could not get out until the end. I will definitely say AMEN!!!
this song teaches us all to be humble and know that God is the Alpha and Omega and when he speaks we do not need to question or even understand but to say Amen Let ur will be done.
Wasn't he so perfectly anointed with the funeral sermon for Whitney? So perfect for the listening world. I commend him so highly and I'm sure they have church around there.
I heard this song before however after the death of the late Whitney Houston my thoughts were WHY, HOW, NO, & TOO SOON but then Pastor Sang this song and through it GOD ministered to me and allowed me to see why & all I could say is Amen. I love the song, just Awesome.
this playe dat my grandmas wake 2/28/12.and ive been hearing it atleast once a day since.i cant get away from it,dont want 2.but it is powerful n soul filling.amen!!!!!
We buried my 18 year old daughter yesterday and her father used this as his text when he preached her eulogy. I miss my baby so much, but God has spoken and as a believer all I can say is Amen. RIP to my angel Asia, mommy loves, you misses you but I know you're resting with the Lord. Amen!
@summer624 I pray that God brings you comfort thru the days and rest at night! God has spoken, and sometimes that is the biggest pill we have to swallow....He has brought this trial to you to strengthen you so that you may help someone else going thru it...I lost my mom when I was 7....I went thru life not understanding why....I didn't understand until my son's father passed last July...I went thru it so that I would know how to handle raising an 8yr old who has lost a parent at a young age.
@TheSonjaxfactor she was a passenger in the back seat of a car being driven recklessly by her "friend". the driver and the front passenger walked away without a scratch, my baby was killed. I cry every day, she was only 18 and my heart has been ripped to shreds.
Everytime i get off from work i get on my computer n listen to gospel music . 4:15 a. m. l get off work best time n quiet time to converse withour beloved Almighty God. i cant explain how much i thank our beloved Almighty God for His everlasting love for me n my love ones. n all mankind.
Amen & Amen. I don't think I'd heard this song til WH home going. I know God gets the glory & lives will NEVER be the same. Jesus didn't come for perfect vessels, but sin stained/cracked/broken vessels. Her life unfolded before our eyes, & no matter how "ugly" her life seemed, she was quoted/filmed giving God glory & calling on Jesus. Let's pray Bobbie Kristina can receive that legacy vs anything else!!! In JESUS' Name
The people who disliked this song really need to be......all I have to say is they apparently have an issue with Whitney Houston and are disliking this song because Marvin chose to close out her funeral with it.....My God WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THIS WORLD!!!!! Wonderful song....keep praising brother!!!!!
Whitney passed on February 11th. My choir group and I had just had rehearsal that day...we normally perform our originally composed songs, but since Andre Crouch came out with this OUTSTANDING SONG...I was led to teach it to my group AS IS!!! Our rehearsal turned into a Heavenly experience within minutes of singing this glorious song. Then, just after I dismissed...cries broke out...and it was told to us that Whitney had passed. Week later...Marvin sang this song at her homegoing. TOUCHING!!!
I wish that in the midst of all the garbage out there Miss Cissy could see that there are still lots of people here on this song's page that have their hearts going out to her daughter's passing. We have been touched in a mighty and awesome way from her life lived and her passing.Amen.
@SuperDonnieC I think Whitney Funeral done something to america that we just cant explain, but out everything he does,God really gets the Glory ..Thank You Jesus..I know we look at it to be bad,God doing something y'all lord I give you praise ..Let the church say Amen.
@forreal431 It did. it was letting EVERYBODY.....living for CHRIST of not.... rich or poor.....that U can be here 2day and gone 2morrow. AMEN.....i had heard this song several times prior to Nippy's home-going but until that time i had never cried while hearing it. i was at work and me and my co-worker from Africa just broke down and started crying.....i had my hands over my face and the tears was just flowing.....IF HE said it believe it.....GOD HAS SPOKEN!AMEN!
@heluvsme11 God is Awesome n he is going to show the world something thru her death, already they are watching the pharmacy, thats a good thing right there..
@forreal431 watching the pharmacy???its a lot more deeper than that. look beyond the natural eye and through HIS spiritual eyes (the eyes of GOD)....when u do this a Lot of ppl will not understand u.....not even a lot of CHRISTIANS only certain ones have this gift....ask HIM 4 but look forward to a LOT of LONELY days.....AMEN! GOD BLESS!
Love this song. I appreciate that it brought to the masses during Ms. Houston's funeral. You can argue that He brought it to us, and yes He did, but He used her to do it. Just think of how many more people heard it and now enjoy it. God is good all the time!!
Does anyone know the name of the first song that Bebe sang at Whitney's homegoing? He said that he wrote it after his brother died, but i can't find it anywhere.
What a powerful song! Thank you, Pastor Winans. And thank you, Andrae Crouch for writing it. I was deeply moved by the services for Whitney Houston. God's love was all around, in the remembrances, in Stevie Wonder's words and performance, in the touching song by R. Kelly...and on and on. God loved Whitney, weaknesses and all, just as he loves each of us. This song is a reminder of that. Thanks, again, Rev. Winans. May God continue to bless you.
I have been waking up with this song on my mind. When I hear it playing on the radio I am singing it all day long. Love this song. Touching when he sung it at Whitney's service. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
The world was on the same page at the same time for the right reasons or the wrong . What ever the reason,GOD spoke and he spoke boldly through all of his vessels. God is so awesome,Amen Pastor Winans
@Caramel that is so true, there were so many praise reports of people turning their lives over to the Lord, rededicated, or said that they were going to live a better life in Christ. People witnessed the power of God all over the world. Sleep in peace my sister Whitney Houston.
This song is truly a blessing to my soul. It's been in my spirit since Whitney Houston's funeral. (R.I.P.) She was an icon. Her mother did the right thing televising the homegoing. It saved souls and woke up those who were sleep.
The spirit is stil with us! I started listening to this like many of us that have re-awakened to our faith, at Whitney Houston's going home Celebration. I wake up every morning with the voices of praise we all heard and feel I am forever changed. Prioritize!
@gwh112148 AMEN! "Prioritize." That was and is the message.
Also, everyone should know that it is God who SPOKE and has brought us together, not Whitney. Amazingly, however, it seems He is speaking LOUDLY through her death. So, if you are hearing the voice of the Lord, simply say "Amen," for there is a BLESSING in obedience but a CURSE in disobedience. Amen.
@fstanley35 Amazingly? One would think from your comments, that God should have consulted you for the best way to speak to all of the lost souls all over the world. As Rev Winans said so appropriately, there are many so-called Christians "Behaving Badly". Christ came to save a world of sinners and God is Love.
@ygs2sup : are you talking about the song he had his family come sing? If so, the name of that song is "Tommorow" recorded by the Winans. I hope this helps.
I've heard this song before but it resonated with my soul so strong on Saturday (Whitney Houston's funeral). Now I can't stop playing it. Pastor Winans did something amazing with that Eulogy. Really helped turn my thoughts on life and everything around. God works in mysterious ways.
YES.......THUMBS UP. LIVING 4 JESUS IS THE GREATEST THING THAT WE CAN AND SHOULD DO. WHAT WE DO FOR CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS WILL LAST. I BELIEVE THAT IN THESE FINAL HOURS THAT GOD IS LETTING HIS PEOPLE KNOW HALLELUJAH......(WHICH MEANS- PRAISE JESUS) THAT WE NEED TO BE READY. START LOOKING UP CHURCH OUR REDEMPTION IS NEAR. WE SERVE A GOOD GOD.....AMEN!
Jesus "What A Awesome Song" I think of who could sing this powerful song at my church " Yes Yes -- Deacon Leapor. I pray this song is ministered at my Church. Halleaujia
OMG! I heard this too at Whitney's homegoing-It touched my spirit then and it has touched it again today. These words have found a place in my heart and soul! God has spoken halleaujia, AMEN!
Let's say a prayer of thanks to Andrae Crouch, who wrote this song and so many others. His heartfelt tributes to our lord and savior are so beautiful, so timeless. The first song at Michael Jackson's funeral -- "Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King" -- was another by Andrae Crouch. May God continue to bless us with Andrae's talents. Amen.
I also heard this for the first time at Whitney's home going. These simple words have found a place in my soul. Faith must be in what you say, God has spoken, let the church say amen.
Whitney Houston also brought me here. I am at awe at how simply words are so powerful and so beautiful. I find myself walking around saying AMEN ! Marvin was lying when he said Sissy brought the world to church. Because she did.
isn't it amazing how many of us heard that song during Whitney's "Home Going?" I woke up this morning morning singing it. And yes, now I'm here with you all, touched by the Spirit, grateful to say that Whitney me here too. I love this song.
I am in agreeance with so many others "Whitney brought me here". I first heard it during her Homegoing Celebration and I couldn't get it out of my head. She has proven to be a Blessing to so many people. Sad that she had to go, but God loved her best. Let the Church say Amen. Amen. Amen.
One thing I can say about Whitney she introduced us to good music even at her funeral!!! This is such an awesome song!!! Ive heard it before but I have really listen to it again over and over since Saturday!!!
Like many others, I found this video after hearing it during Whitney Houston's funeral. Such an appropriate song for the funeral's conclusion. I have played it at least 10x today, it is speaking to my heart and I am in agreement with God's voice in my life. Thank you Pastor Winans for placing this song in my heart. Whitney's funeral is showing to be a blessing for many of us. God is so good.
God Bless Whitney Houston even in death, I heard the song at her 'HomeGoing' service, i have been singing it since.....God bless and keep her safe with Him, we love you Whitney and God loves you too....God Bless you Marvin...Amen
I had actually heard this song a couple of months at a church I was visiting. But it was just a condensed version, not this powerhouse of a song that I heard yesterday during Whitney's funeral. I have heard the entire song and it inspired to get up and go back to church this morning! Even more awe-inspiring was the song was playing on a gospel music station on my way to church! Definitely saying AMEN! God has spoken!
What a song. God bless Pastor Marvin Winnans. This is the first time I heard this song on Whitney's funeral service and the whole world is saying A-M-E-N.
Let us All continue to Pray for Ms.whitney Houston Daughter ,Mother ,ExHusband Family and Friend's.We all were impacted by her Death in some way. God is Love Many blessing's to all that are mourning
Thank you Lord for your Grace and Mercy. AMEN! First time that I heard this song was in Tyler Perry's movie "I Can do all Bad by Myself" and I fell in love with song then but to here it at Whitney's funeral touched me even more. This is such a beautiful song, I cry when I hear this song. For all the things that God has brought me through all I can say is AMEN! Every morning Yolanda Adams plays this on her show and my mom and I give God all the praise and cry as we ride into work together.
A move moving service could not have been possible. God Bless all those who shared this uplifting experienced. The Pastor has renewed my faith. God Bless him, all those who participated and most of all Whitney for having brought us all home.
This song and the sermon was absolutely breathtaking. Jesus Christ was truly magnified; I know Whitney would have been pleased with the service. It was such a blessing.
I love this song, whenever I hear it, it really gets to me

The spirit is stil with us! I started listening to this like many of us that have re-awakened to our faith, at Whitney Houston's going home Celebration. I wake up every morning with the voices of praise we all heard and feel I am forever changed. Prioritize!
gwh112148 2 weeks ago
@gwh112148 AMEN! "Prioritize." That was and is the message.
Also, everyone should know that it is God who SPOKE and has brought us together, not Whitney. Amazingly, however, it seems He is speaking LOUDLY through her death. So, if you are hearing the voice of the Lord, simply say "Amen," for there is a BLESSING in obedience but a CURSE in disobedience. Amen.
fstanley35 2 weeks ago
@fstanley35 Amazingly? One would think from your comments, that God should have consulted you for the best way to speak to all of the lost souls all over the world. As Rev Winans said so appropriately, there are many so-called Christians "Behaving Badly". Christ came to save a world of sinners and God is Love.

@ygs2sup : are you talking about the song he had his family come sing? If so, the name of that song is "Tommorow" recorded by the Winans. I hope this helps.

@divapie1 no not that one. when he first took the pulpit he started to sing a little bit, it wasnt a whole song.

I've heard this song before but it resonated with my soul so strong on Saturday (Whitney Houston's funeral). Now I can't stop playing it. Pastor Winans did something amazing with that Eulogy. Really helped turn my thoughts on life and everything around. God works in mysterious ways.

Amen.
