  • @Ruko140 It's from the "Tales from the Vienna Woods" segment from "A Corny Concerto"

  • I loved this as a kid. I was always so sad when the cat died. Also, that song about the umbrellas? I still sing that when I'm walking around town hahah and "Make loooove with a guitar" hahaha.

  • As for the comment at the end of this video about digitally enhanced public domain, WTF? Public Domain is Public Domain! That means the copyright has run out! and anyone can use it for free.

  • this used to freak me out when he killed the cat.

  • when ted turner planned to colorize citizen kane orson welles replied "keep you goddamn crayons away from my picture!"

  • 5:38 ♫where did you get them peepers♫ LMAO

  • i seen this episode before in black and white I STILL LOVE THIS!

  • Hmmm, I remember seeing this cartoon in color. However the animation is definitely very choppy. On my version of this (VHS Tape) I remember it being darker, probably too much use though.

The restoration hasn't been that good to this, either that or the recording transfer to youtube isn't that good. Either way, it's not nearly as clear as it could be.

The black and white version is the better watch for sure. Still, a fun short to watch.

  • that sucks

  • Jeez this recolored version is awful! They chopped out so much animation and the coloring is of such poor quality and taste!

  • Jeepers creepers is the best, Porky's on the verge of crying, remember this one from when I was 7!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

  • Note the mannerisms when the cat is "conducting" the radio orchestra. Perhaps this was to emulate Carl Stalling's style?? Almost every frame of this beautifully restored gem is a work of art. Try pausing the action shots at random.

  • ♫where did you get those eyesss!♫ lmao

  • i love it when the cat sings rock a bye baby.
