Yes. Oh my godness , that was the vid i was searching for. Great, nothing to ad. Superb video work mate. I am flying to my family in Geelong soon booked on Emirates. The whole flight takes me on one and the same plane from Frankfurt al the way down to Melbourne : 777-300ER How was your flight ? Quite and smooth or bumpy ?
@Kassowar65 Thank you! The 777 is generally a smooth Aircraft, it handles turbulence fantastically it really does. It's perfect size cabin, loads of room, has the 2 most epic Engines. Emirates IFE is amazing apparently so that will be good! I think you'll enjoy it!
do they give you a amenity kit in economy class ?and how did you get the extra blanket and pillow for economy sky couch, they gave it to you at the boarding gate or inside the plane or at check in??
@TheYay1995 There's a blanket and pillow on the seat, there is 2 big pillows and proper duvet in the over head compartment. I was travelling with my mum so didn't lay down or anything just put our legs out. To me on these 12 hour flights it's worth it! Nice to be able to move around and get some great Window seat options! I don't like how ANZ don't have online Check-in and they just seat you wherever there is room. If you upgrade you get a bigger range of places to sit, depends on number paxs.
@HeathrowSpottingHD yeah im flying only with my dad, next sunday and i will vedio tape my trip and post it on youtube, hope i will get upgraded, what i meant by the amenity kit is that do they have that thing or pouch that they have socks and toothpast and earplugs and ect.. in it?
Great video! I was a little puzzled on my first 777 flight in December. It was a BA flight, YYZ-LHR, on a 772 with GE90s. When engine 1 started there was this loud, intense buzz and vibration. Now I know its normal on GE powered 777s! ;)
@Ozinater Yeah that's how the GE's roll! It's weird flying on a Aircraft with Trents or something after as you expect a loud buzz but you never get it! I love the GE90's!
It would have been nice to see something of the cabin, the inflight entertainment system, the food, the staff on board etc etc instead of the same window shot the entire time.
I didnt know you can film inside the plane. anytime when I go in the plane I would always hear people say to not use any electronic devices. or maybe I just missed understood.
Awesome footage, dude! something about big jets that get me going.
been on Air NZ from AKL-YVR, and that was only in a 777-200, Nice to hear that the 300 is just as quiet. although I do miss the roar of the good ol' DC10s!! :-)
@wolfman958 I was born and raised in England. I'm half English half Indian. British Citizen etc. I have a US Visa which enables me to Live over here in the States.
@mbaustinful How would that make sense if I don't fly BA or someone? BA I wouldn't because prices are stupidly high for Economy. Don't fly AA as I'm not a fan, Virgin were bad on the way to LA so never again. Why not fly on a new 77W to a 20 year old 747? Air New Zealand's Aircraft and service over take any of the other carriers that fly LHR-LAX-LHR I.e why they won Airline of the year! It's not like I flew to Auckland to get to London ha.
@HeathrowSpottingHD Now I understand the reasons, too bad when I board one of those planes, they will be old like the BA's ones
thanks for sharing you're experience with us, compliments for 17 year old brazilian boy who is mad about the "British Empire" ( I mean UK, Australia, New Zealand and India too, do not be offended.
P.S- my english is good, but I always make "little" mistakes, and I like USA also
@wisnu1231 B77W Is the ICAO Code for the B777-300ER generally used for shortening and on the Flight Plan. The Non ER is B773, the B777-200/ER is B772 and B777-200LR/F B77L/F. Hope this helps!
I've done that flight loads of times, but only ever with British Airways, or Virgin Atlantic. This is always the worst flight for me. I hate leaving LA!
@dublinairportplanes It was probably a little over 3/4 full. That's because Flaps 15 was used so the V1 & V2 speeds are lower than if it was a Flap 5 Take-off which is more commonly used. Flaps 15/20 is only really used on shorter Runways with a greater TOW. At an Airport say Heathrow with an 11,000ft Runway normally Flap 5 is good. All depends on Weight and Runway length!
@LudeSpeed77 I asked my mate who flies the 777 fleet. "The 777 has 8 pumps, 4 primary and 4 demand pumps. 2 primary and 2 demands are powered by the engine, and the other 2 primary and demands are powered electrically. The demand pumps only operate when the pressure is low on the ground. The gear takes the most power out of the hydraulics, so in big turns and whenever the Main gear steering is working it'll constantly as for more power, thats why you can hear them going on and off"
@DeformedWampaHD I heard that the 77W could get put on the LAX route in a couple of years time! The 747s are quite old, BA are way to overpriced these days which is the bad thing!
@TheJaydowgg And why is that? Most Aviation and 777 fans would want to hear the Announcements, Pushback, especially Engine start if you're a 777 fan with those GE90s. Control Checks etc. The only part I'd say skip and that's the taxi after pushback to the Take-off.
@boeingnerd77 It is a normal camera. Point and shoot. Basically a cross between a Video Camera & SLR. Loads sell it, try Googling "Sony HX100V" you should get many results, try Ebay and Amazon.
@james737 Air New Zealand rips them all to pieces! Their new IFE is so good, USB Ports, AC Power. Comfort is top even for Economy! The 77W beats the A340-600 & B747-400 by a long shot. Flew the A340-600 out to LA and it was one of the worst Flights. All of BA's b744's are horrid inside, AA has a bad right up overal. United are Second best in my book! I like there new cabin though.
