I thought the photography on this was well done considering it was all thought up, filmed and edited in one evening. And yes I can confirm that the "twitchy Camera" is intentional. It's supposed to replicate the look of double exsposure on film. It's used mostly by Tony Scott in the movies Domino and Man on Fire
The ending was really funny and made up for the rest of the video, which was sub-par by your standards (bad shots, picture was unsteady, lighting was bad... can't really blame you for that last one but if you had filmed at some other time then that would have been better).
Now I'm just curious as to why you found the shots bad, because I absolutely adore the cinematography in this video. I'm not trying to be accusational, I'm just honestly curious. I can see why you think that about the picture and lighting though, I'm just more confused about the bad shots part of your comment. :)
Yeah there were a lot of good shots but when there are some bad shots it really stands out. The camera was shaking quite a bit in several places but that's not really important - hell it even worked for your benefit in a few places.
But onto the shots. I could tell the raw footage of it was likely a wider aspect ratio than what was uploaded onto youtube. That was done for obvious reasons and it's not your fault but you have to know your medium; when you film it you need to remember
[cont] where it's going to end up and what your going to have to do to the footage in the edit to best suit that medium. In lots of the shots the cameraman was filming as you would for normal wide screen footage, getting both characters into one shot so that you can have a good composition, but that doesn't work in some places like youtube - even tv broadcasts in 4:3. I gave this 4/5- I'm just a bit of a snob about that stuff and I think you've done much better in your past videos, even outdoors
Ah yes, well that's completely fair. I'm very greatful when people give us back constructive criticism, so thank you. This was more of an experimental video for us, as this was the first time I did not edit or direct it, but I was quite pleased with the result, (as I myself am quite snobby about it). But thank you for giving us feedback, it'll always help us in the future.
Actually, this was edited by a guest editor this week, and the twitchy camera effects were intentional. The random bluriness however, I do not know if that was intentional or not.
I assumed the person I was replying to was referring to the fact that during some seasons the cameraman's hands were just unsteady, but I see what you're talking about.
Actually there are three: Fight, Flight, and Freeze. I freeze all the time when I get scared.

Overall a good parody.

Loved it. Especially the music and those twitchy camera effects. Epic ending lol!

Not "twitchy camera effects". Unsteady recording. I can guarantee it wasn't intentional.
