lips trills are a hard thing to do! Easy way to work on them is to take say middle concert B flat and lip slur to the D then back to B flat and slowly speed it up and before u know it ur into lip trills.

It the Finale to John P. Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever"! Note the lead Trombone part first done by the lady on the far right, then by the lady next to her is usually palyed on Piccolo. Very difficult. The double, triple, flutter tonguing and slide coordination is simply amazing as are the pedal (Bass) notes. Bravo!

OMG! Amazing job girls. Making it look easy when we all know it isn't. For the person with the comment about the lack of female trombone players, the entire trombone studio at Truman State was all female sans one when I went to school there. Trombone is the female brass instrument, as the better ones I have seen have all been female.

I hate it when people clap in the middle of a song, solo or not. It's even worse when there's a second solo following the first. The clapping covers up the second one, and that's not acknowleding at all. Correct concert etiquette means no noise during a performance. But this is probably an exception, because it seems more casual. But.. meh.
