  • This is what is great about chevy's, you can blow it up and not even feel that bad about it. A phone call to the junkyard later, you've got your choice of junk pulls from a fleet van to a cadillac, and a zillion to choose from.

  • wow that was a lot of junk, could you save the crank?

  • @groutaone Watch my Damage Report Teardown - Bottom End All Banged Up! Or all my Damage Reports!

  • What started the engine failure? That's the most impressive engine damage I've seen. It almost seems like the crank clearance caused the pistons to hit the valves, but that shouldn't happen unless the timing chain snapped. Either way, great video and good luck finding another 327.

  • @colby512 Probably overheating started it but if you watch my Gopher Dunes Damage Reports you will see that the cam came out the back of the engine and broke into 4 pieces!

  • @MudRFunR Nasty! I rebuilt a 350 this summer and I know how much punishment these old engines can take, but I've never seen an engine block marred and destroyed like that. I'm currently working on watching your videos :)

  • At the moment I don't need another truck or engine but I will keep it in mind once I get some things off my yard.

  • I've blown up alot of engines but never anything like this. I'm just disappointed that it had to be my 327.

  • nice video. good job. nice truck also!
