A stunning performance full of mischief and powerful singing by the late great Don van Vliet. A much underrated song too. Anyone who thought Don was over the hill at this stage in his musical career was most definitely wrong. Long live the good Captain!
to be honest, i dont care what anyone say's, i like captain beefheart's music and if you really think about it, it's better than all the shitty rap music we hear alot these days
@natmanprime yep, the album "unconditionally guaranteed" is totally pop... very good, but not classic beef. this is honestly much better than on the album, just like the "this is the day" from this same show...
@SgtDonuts i miss that time. i have a theory: most music sucks now because most bands don't grow mustaches or beards. look at Justin Beiber and that rat's nest on his head
@vincentpricesnephew music only sucks if you listen to mainstream music it has always been shit discover some bands that aren't that known of and you'll realize music of today doesn't suck what so ever just mainstream sucks
@vincentpricesnephew music of today doesn't suck the mainstream music of today sucks but the bands that aren't known of today are good stop counting on mainstream music to be good because it never has been good full stop once you learn of music that's not in the mainstream you'll understand complaining about no good music is silly because there still is good music you just have to look for it or be more open minded to when people tell you about good bands to actually check them out

@vincentpricesnephew There's not enough influence of the Blues being used either, thats where all the good stuff comes from
