To tell you how "good", "cool" and "classic" this show is, let me say this: it looks like a bad 80s TV series, like there is hundreds and hundreds of them. And it was written in the early 90s…
This opening is missing on the new box set DVDs. All the episodes, not just the final few, now feature the noxious revamped version from LOVE AND CURSES.
Title that decision "how to knock off a few points from your DVD sales". Fortunately the 'real' opening is still posted here so I can wash the cheesy LOVE AND CURSES jingle out of my mind.
Agreed. While never having seen the Love and Curses intro before I guess I could say I've seen this show now in all its forms. Still can't figure out how this show went from being so cool to being so hokey.
Hey everybody! This series will be available on DVD tomorrow! Yes, SHE-WOLF OF LONDON/LOVE AND CURSES: THE COMPLETE SERIES will be released by Universal Studios Home Video tomorrow! Another good thing about the upcoming WOLF MAN movie (besides the R rating).
I think Friday the 13th: The Series predates it by a couple of years, and it seemed more pre-X-Files with, complete with the more "open to the bizarre" male lead and the more serious red-headed female lead.
I loved this show while it was on. Ian was totally the proto-Giles, and it Randi (*snicker*) ended up sans clothing a lot more often than Buffy ever did. Not as strong a supporting cast, and obviously the writing was not as Jossome. But still, pretty enjoyable.
I absolutely loved this series when it came on and I'm still searching for someone to sell me the DVD....sigh. I loved the shows quirky and sometimes outright campy sense of humor. Remmemer 'Mystic Pizza?'
I loved this show! It was hilarious and scary and intentionally corny all at the same time! :) The girl's name was Randy, which in London led to more than a few jokes.
They filmed an episode of this at my school, in Bristol, in 1991. I never saw it but have been looking for it ever since - I wouldn't be surprised if I'm in it too we were asked to extras! Does anyone remember an episode with a rugby match at a school?
I have the episodes. Midtown Comics here in NY sold them. They were clearly burned copies from Sci-Fi Channel, but I'll live with them for now until (or if) an official release comes out.
No I like boys and boys only....

No, they were spoofing the superficiality of LA... it's total satire, and it works.

Were they the prototype for Mulder & Scully? Hmmm....
