  • MAIS INFORMAÇÕES

  • Portugal was the first country in Europe where the Templars settled (in 1128), so it has been the last to preserve any remnant of that order. The order was suppressed (1312) by Pope Clement V. King Diniz, who then ruled Portugal, instituted a new order, under the name of Christi Militia (1317) The Knights of Christ however meaning thecontinuation in Portugal of the Order of the Temple. As for your question, yes I am a member of the Knights of Christ Order.

  • what's the title of the song?

  • The title is "O Fortuna" from CArmina Burana. You can get some insight by reading the video info on this page.

  • I think the Templars have lived on in history beyond what they possibly believed. What an awsome legacy they leave in this and other castles. Makes you wish you were there during their time.

  • First of all, thank you for the comment. Yes, I know what you mean and you're right. As for the castles, you couldn't have described it better for it's the way it feels whenever I visit this place, a strange connection however so full of memories telling about those days forever lost in the mist of time, it's like home to me. Greetings from Portugal.

  • I doubt that's true but this is a nice video!

  • Sir, I honestly don't know what you're doubting about. Although I respect your opinion, I definitely don't feel compelled to accept it. Whether you believe it or not, this a subject that concerns to me, to my ancestors and to my country which History has been written for over 9 centuries. Any way, thank you for your kind comment.
