having played it on Genesis Collection recently, the controls were seriously so bad. anybody could be excused for being frustrated, especially on the one level where you have to jump up the cliff, using a bunch of one-block platforms. i never really got the hang of Kid's little 'flip' onto the blocks. either it would work, or it wouldnt. and then I'd fall to the beginning of the level and start over. Hats off to anyone that has beaten it. I salute you.

Genesis Collection? Never heard of it.

I have it on the Wii Virtual Console also on a CD-Rom game that is a collection of genesis games.

The controls are fine on those in my opinion. ;)

@NeuralNetProcessor On a real Sega Genesis, the controls are very good. It's bad on Genesis collection because it's a badly made emulator. The controls on Genesis Collection have sort of a unresponsiveness or lag to them. Trust me, if you play it on a real Genesis it contros like a dream, especially if you're using a 3 button controller.

yea but i beat it on sonics ultimate genesis collection which lets you save and load the games lol. and yes i eventually killed that blue lobster. i thought it was a scorpion bcuz it used its tail to sting me

thers only one blue lobster in the game and its in the three island levels in a row (sorry i cant remember the name of level)

hint: its the level before that surfer island level

Oh man so much nostalgia! The furthest I ever got was the part where you became a fly in this industrial level, pretty freaking awesome. Man I should really try and find my ol' Sega.

hahahah yeah, you had to beast it through the cave level after you hit the warp in that one elsewhere spot to get the cyclone helmet...hahah classic shortcut

Yeah, this game is long and hard. The farthest I've ever made it was "Hills have Eyes" in the 4th part of the game (after Bagel Bros.)

Yeah. You can't IMAGINE how long and hard this game is. Also, I think I've BEEN in Bagel Bros., but I don't remember. I have this game in Sega Genesis Collection for PS2--NOT Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for PS3/X-Box 360. Plus, I don't have that game for PSP either (the 2006 one).
