@laughofyou it's japanese. haha. the angular characters such as "アロエヨーグルト" make it japanese. chinese characters have more strokes, and they kind of look like "期間限定". although, japanese uses these angular characters, chinese characters, and a different set of characters that look curvy. the latter is called "hiragana".
